After decades of development,the national weather information network system is taking shape.Both the national meteorological wide-area network system MPLS VPN and CMACast which could cover the whole country and the Asia-Pacific have been established.Now CMACast has become a main way to distribute real-time data for the advantage of satellite communications.But with the city construction and the frequent occurrence of extreme weather,the disadvantage emerges gradually that the satellite communication is easy to be influenced by weather and environment and the weather data are missed.Now this disadvantage becomes an important factor that influences the weather service quality.This thesis mainly researches how to build a new Meteorological Service Information System based on the ground broadband network and make sure the original weather business works well at the same time.The new system needs to cover the shortage of weather satellite in the transmission of data and improve the quality of weather data and the development of modern weather business.The new system should guarantee the operation of weather business efficiently and stably.The thesis discusses a weather data transmission system with MPLS VPN based on current meteorological system resources which uses the Linux operation system in combination with the technology of shell and jsp.This system could avoid the influence of reconstruction and save money.The network structure of MPLS VPN,the access technology of VPN,the Linux operation system and the technology of shell are used in combination with current meteorological information transmission system and technology to accomplish the general structure design.In addition,the system requirement,the general goal and principle are considered to accomplish the design.With the allocation of current resources and the control of timeliness and quality,the use efficiency of network and system resources is improved and the timeliness and quality of meteorological data are guaranteed.The Web inquiry service of meteorological data is achieved with Tomcat.The use efficiency of meteorological data is improved as much as possible.A powerful support is provided to the weather forecast and the disaster warning service.
