Gulongbei block is located near the center of oil production boom at Gulong Depression.The abundant hydrocarbon resources are from oil depression and Qing-? source rock stratum beneath the target layer.The Gulongbei tectonic block is located in the southwest wing of the Gaoxi nose like structure where the fault mainly runs in a north-south direction,and the fault near central section trends NWW.Pu? distributary channel sand bodies trending north-west-south-east mostly is almost parallel to the nearly-north-south faults,which make it difficult in fault sealing.Most of NWW-trending faults with long-period activity are oil-source faults,which is also not beneficial for fault sealing.Therefore,The fault trap of Pu? is poorly developed.The reservoir is dominated by channel sandstone reservoir associated with oil source fault.Based on regional stratigraphic correlation and understanding of sedimentary system,the Formation Pu? is subdivided to establish sequence development and seismic reflection structural feature in this paper.Various methods are used to identify and trace stratigraphic horizons and faults to establish stratigraphic and tectonic framework,analyze seismic attribute,optimize inversion method and predict Pu? reservoir distribution.The main controlling factors of Pu? are analyzed to summarize the hydrocarbon accumulation model,comprehensively evaluate the oil and gas potential of Pu?,and then optimize evaluation area and study the well pattern,which provide the basis for the optimization of the block.
