Although a breakthrough has been made in the exploration of Xujiaweizi volcanic rocks,there are obvious differences in volcanic rocks,rock types and reservoir develop ment characteristics of each well.Therefore,it is difficult to master the spatial distributi on of volcanic rocks and reservoirs,there is an urgent need to make a more systemati c and in-depth study of volcanic rock types and reservoir characteristics.To provide rel iable technical support for the exploration of Mesozoic volcanic rocks,to provide scien tific basis for the submission of reserves and the determination of exploration targets.At the same time,it will enrich and perfect the geological theory of volcanic reservoir and deepen the understanding of volcanic reservoir.This paper is based on the observ ation,identification and contrast of volcanic cores,cuttings in single well,the theories an d methods of modern geology,petrology and geochemistry are applied,the petrological characteristics,reservoir space and reservoir properties of volcanic rocks are systematica lly studied,and relate to gas test result,the reservoir of volcanic rock was evaluated.Th e following conclusions and understanding are obtained:The main rock types of volcanic lava are pelletic rhyolite,rhyolite,(coarse-sided)a nglo-anite,trachyte,crude anyan,basalt.The main rock types of pyroclastic rocks are flux itic fused tuff,rhyolite(crystal chips)tuff,rhyolitic breccia,rhyolitic volcanic breccia,aggl omerates,the volcanic facies include eruption phase,spillage phase and crater or near cr ater facies,including empty subphase and thermal clastic phase of Anda-Xingcheng stru ctural belt.Volcano rock reservoir core observed 12 types of pore and micropore devitrificati on of the spherulitic rhyolite,and rhyolitic volcano ash(melting)produced in the pore is dissolution of tuff two newly recognized pore types of Anda-Xingcheng structural belt.These two types of pores play an important role in reservoir performance,and pro vide new research ideas and methods for reservoir research in the future.The main reservoir space type volcano rock set with stomata,stomata are the resi dual pore,after filling the hole in the amygdala,spherules rhyolite glass devitrification produced by micropore,emposieu,volcano ash dissolution pore,carbonate dissolution por e,quartz crystal,intergravel pore,dissolution pore and intergranular contraction surroundin g spheres joints,cracks and micro cracks and other types of Anda-Xingcheng structural belt.In the Anda-Xingcheng structural belt main types of volcanic rocks in the gas be aring formation are sedimentary tuff,The second is agglomerates and tuff.The porosity of the air segment varies widely(1.14-16.1%),except the Xushen 5 permeability of fu sed tuff is larger than that 1×10-3?m2,Agglomerates and tuff are less than1×10-3?m2.Anda-xing-cheng structural belt is related to volcanic rocks in the production of i ndustrial gas section,the types of volcanic rock,the depth of the space distribution char acteristics showed that industrial gas hole are mainly distributed in the northeast of A nda-xing-cheng structural belt,and has the farther the higher the output of the northeas t trend.
