Rainfall and earthquakes are two important factors inducing geological disasters such as landslides and mudslides.However,the mechanisms for inducing landslides are completely different.Therefore,it is of great theoretical significance and application value to deeply study the slope stability under coupling condition of rainfall,earthquake and both.In this paper,the software Geostudio was used to establish a series of slope analysis models under the effect of rainfall infiltration,earthquake action,and rainfall-seismic co upling to study the stability of the slope,and use these models to study the failure mechanism of slope failure.The main studies of this paper are as follows:1.The natural geography and geological conditions of Longdongpo ancient landslide were studied,and the basic status and its potential inducing factors were analyzed.The numerical analysis model for the Longdongpo ancient landslide under natural conditions was established and calculated.The results show that the ancient landslide is in a safe state under natural conditions,but the Sinan county in Guizhou where the ancient landslide is located is a region with frequent occurrence of rainfall and earthquakes.It is necessary to further study and analyze the stability of the ancient landslide under rainfall,earthquake,and the coupling of the two.2.The slope characteristics of seepage and its stability under different rainfall were studied:(1)Based on the local rainfall records,the effects of the three types of rainfall on the stability of the slope were studied:normal distribution,degressive and equal intensity.(2)The seepage field,safety factor and displacement during the 48 hours of four rainfall intensity(20mm/h,20mm/h,87.1 mm/h and 133.0 mm/h)were calculated,and the failure mechanism of the slope under rainfall was analyzed.3.The dynamic response and stability of the slope under different earthquakes are studied:(1)The response laws of acceleration,displacement and safety factor of the slope influenced by three typical seismic waves are studied,which include El-Centro,Taft and Tangshan waves.(2)Based on the local conditions,the slope deformation characteristics and dynamic response law of the seismic wave peak accelerations of 0.05g,0.1g,0.2g,and 0.4g were calculated and compared.4.The slope stability under the coupling condition of rainfall and earthquake was studied:(1)Under the same rainfall conditions,the slope stability and failure characteristics under different earthquake and different peak accelerations were studied.(2)Under the same earthquake conditions,the effects of rainfall infiltration with different rainfall intensity and different rainfall duration on the seepage and stability of the slope were studied.
