Based on the study of traditional power line communication(PLC),this paper applies a newmodulation method-multi-differential chaotic shift keying modulation technology using chaotic signals as carriers(M-DCSK:M-Ary Differential Chaotic Shift Keying),Data shows that the cost of access networks accounts for as much as 50%of the total investment in the network.If the power lines that access the home can be used effectively as a carrier for access networks,it can effectively solve the problem of high cost of access networks.Traditional PLC communication has different requirements for different service transmission rates,such as broadband and narrowband.Thisarticle specifically designs a signal transmission scheme with better performance and more efficient bandwidth for Narrowband PLC(NPLC).The PLC channel environment is very bad,making the communication quality guarantee in communications the biggest difficulty.The traditional modulation method used in PLC communicationcannot effectively suppress multipath interference and noise interference in the PLC channel.In this paper,M-DCSK is applied to NPLC.Because the chaotic signal has inherent noise-like spread spectrum characteristics,the signal is directly spreading processed at the same time as the modulation,with its good correlation characteristics and continuous bandwidth power spectrum characteristics,the system has good resistance to power line channel noise and resistance to multipath interference.The main work of this article includes the following aspects:(1)Put forward a complete system model of multi-phase chaotic modulation and demodulation system in a narrow-band PLC channel,and simulate system simulation results under differentmodulation systems;(2)Derive the theoretical BER formula of multivariate differential chaos shift keying modulation technique in narrow-band PLC channel and compare it with the simulation results;(3)According to the characteristics of NPLC channel,the design of constellation point is optimized for the multivariate chaotic modulation and demodulation system,and an attempt tooptimize the communication quality of PLC communication.
