With the rapid progress of modern science and technology and the corresponding consumption of land resources,the human demand for marine resources has reached a new height,and the range of activities in the ocean is becoming wider and wider.Especially in the field of marine engineering,the speed of development is obviously faster than the development of the resources at the same term.According to the national data statistics of 2010,there are more than 750 sets of marine drilling equipment in the world.The marine engineering field is advanced in technology,small input-output ratio and high added value,which is the strategic focus of the future development of the world.Though all countries have already started the exploitation of marine resources and the construction of offshore engineering,they are inevitably faced with great difficulties,especially the backwardness of marine geological detection equipment,which seriously restricts the exploration of marine resources by human society.Cone Penetration Test technology is the most advanced detection method of seabed soil in situ currently,and is an important development direction of our country in the "marine power" strategy.The technology has a bright application prospect in the national defense security,underwater engineering,marine resources exploration,marine scientific research and other fields.In this paper,a measurement and control system based on the Cone Penetration platform of the seabed is designed in view of the working principle of the marine Cone Penetration Test technology.The Cone Penetration Test equipment equipped with the platform obtains the relevant soil parameters by slowly penetrating the seabed sediment layer in a static way.The measurement and control system mainly includes the underwater measurement unit that controls the penetration of the seabed equipment and the deck data acquisition unit.The underwater measurement unit communicated with the deck PC terminal in a simulated full duplex 485 mechanism to ensure the real-time performance,penetrated the CPT probe and pulled up operation,received equipment status data of submarine mechanical equipment.The deck data acquisition unit supplied the power to the sensor probe,received the underwater sensor data through the special-purpose communication cable,and uploaded the handled data to the deck PC terminal.The hardware of the system is measured and controlled through the interface provided by the mechanical equipment.The hardware design mainly includes the underwater measurement circuit and deck data acquisition circuit.In terms of hardware circuit,the SMT32 microprocessor is used as the center of the system's processing and control,which is composed of power management module,hydraulic drive circuit,equipment sensor data acquisition circuit,local data storage circuit and communication circuit.The software design of the system includes three parts,which are embedded software of underwater measurement unit,embedded software of deck data acquisition unit,and PC GUI.The design of embedded software mainly included the sending and receiving of communication data,the drive of hydraulic motor,the conversion and collection of sensor data,the local storage of data and more.The GUI was designed to send control commands to submarine equipment and receive data from submarine penetration equipment and deck data acquisition unit,and to store in PC local files.Finally,the system is debugged from two parts of hardware and software,and the whole system test is carried out in an experimental base in Qingdao.The test results showed that the measurement and control system meets the basic functions and indexes of the Cone Penetration platform of the seabed,and fully verifies the feasibility of the measurement and control system of the seabed Cone Penetration platform.
