In this paper,a dynamic analysis of a deep-sea lander from getting into water to seabed through using Fluent and LS-DYNA.The simulations give out the landing speed,landing impact force and the subsidence of the equipment made on the seabed sediment.Combined with the simulation results,we use ANSYS Workbench to analyze the total deformation for optimizing the design of the deep-sea lander.Firstly,the application and research overview of deep-sea landers around the world are summarized.Then,the structure of the Deep-sea Sediment Fixed Point Training System and the lander are modeled,and the static simulation and structural optimization of the key accessories are carried out,including the overall balance calculation of the lander,and the optimization of the key parts structure and some sealed structure design.Secondly,the simulation of the descent process of the deep-sea lander is carried out.The simulation calculated the water resistance of five different ocean current by using Fluent.and deduced the displacement of the deep-sea lander from the mothership which providing the reference position information for the equipment recovery.Thirdly,the deep-sea lander will collide with the seabed sediment while it is landing.Ballast blocks and seabed sediments were modeled,and LS-DYNA software was used to analyze the lander impact process.Based on the experimental data of many simulations,the landing velocity of the lander was estimated,and the working conditions of 5 different landing speed were set respectively.The sag depth,the maximum contact reaction force and the maximum strain of the structural framework of the lander are obtained by simulation calculation.There are two types of deep-sea sediments in the simulation,comparing the reaction force between the lander and each kind sediment.Combine the simulation data to verify the strength of the structural framework and ballast block.In final part,it is the data analysis of the deep-sea lander landing experiment.
