Seafloor hydrothermal fluid not only contains abundant metal sulfide re-sources,but also shows us biotopes under extreme natural conditions.Therefore,the research on seafloor hydrothermal activities has rapidly become a hot issues.Sound and temperature are two significant characteristics of seafloor hydrother-mal activities:firstly,seafloor hydrothermal activities are mainly affected by seafloor volcanoes,seismic tidal waves,etc.Thus,we can monitor the variations of hydrother-mal activities by monitoring low-frequency noise under the sea;secondly,when hy-drothermal activities makes a change,the hydrothermal temperature will vary regu-larly.By monitoring the variations of seafloor hydrothermal activities sound and tem-perature,we can use hydrothermal fluid sampler,which developed by our team,to collect hydrothermal fluid when the sound and temperature are abnormal,in order to make further research of the mechanism of hydrothermal activities.Based on the above analysis,this thesis mainly carried out the following work:The design method of the sound series monitoring system.Firstly,the thesis con-sulted the relevant literature to analyze the sound characteristics of seafloor hydrother-mal activities and clarify the sound collection frequency range of system.Secondly,the signal processing circuit of system,including the filtering module and the ampli-fier module,was designed to ensure that the system signal was accurately transmitted to the microcontroller.Finally,the calculation method of system noise was clarified.The design of the sound series monitoring system.Firstly,the thesis did design of system hardware circuit and calculated system noise on account of the relevant analysis of system in the previous section and the design requirements of system.Sec-ondly,the system software part was designed,especially the amplifier module and sta-tistical anomaly detection algorithm.Finally,the host computer communication mod-ule was designed.The design of the temperature series monitoring system.Firstly,the relevant technical indicators of system were clarified based on the temperature characteristics of seafloor hydrothermal activities.Secondly,the hardware circuit of system was de-signed according to the system performance requirements and the concept of modular design.Finally,the system host computer and slave computer part were analyzed simply.Experimental Research.Firstly,the thesis did performance testing of the sound series monitoring system and did designed the pool test.Secondly,the thesis com-pleted channel calibration and system calibration of temperature series monitoring system,as long as the pool test and thermostatic bath test.Finally,the above test result was summarized and analyzed.
