The underwater acoustic positioning system uses the signal from the underwater target to complete the measurement and display of the underwater target trajectory.The underwater positioning buoy is an important part of the positioning system.It mainly realizes the acquisition,storage and acoustic signal processing of the original signal,and communicates and transmits the data with the host computer through the radio.GPS data collector platform,heading data collector platform and underwater acoustic signal data transmission and processing platform are important components of the buoy underwater acoustic positioning system.In this paper,a set of software and hardware platform with CompactRIO platform as the core is designed for the demand for system positioning data collection and underwater acoustic data processing of buoy positioning system.This design is realized by the combination of CompactRIO platform and three kinds of self-made C Module.The reliability of CompactRIO platform can guarantee the stability of data transmission and storage.Self-made C Module can improve the flexibility and practicality of system design which satisfies the demand of the achievement of multiple functions of the positioning system.GPS data collector module takes Spartan-3AN FPGA chip as the core and cooperates with u-blox-M8 N chip,which realizes the function of GPS positioning information collection as well as the function to synchronize with the CompactRIO platform.Heading data collector module takes the TCM chip as the core to achieve the function of heading information collection.Underwater acoustic data processing module takes the Spartan-6 FPGA chip and TMS320C6748 F DSP chip as cores to achieve the functions of underwater acoustic signal transmission and initial processing.The CompactRIO platform selects NI cRIO-9030.Firstly,the driver design of self-made C Module is completed for the CompactRIO platform to identify self-made C Module and achieve the function of digital IO communication.CompactRIO platform covers FPGA and Real-Time.The data interaction between the C Module and CompactRIO is realized by the interface logic design in FPGA.And then passing the collected data to Real-Time and the retention of data and transmission are finished in Real-Time.The buoy positioning system CompactRIO platform and self-made C Module completed in this paper have been experimented with electric simulator and lake experiment.The experimental results show that the buoy is able to achieve the GPS data collection,the heading data collector signal collection and the underwater acoustic signal processing and storage.The result proves the feasibility and practicability of the contents of this paper.
