| In the case of increasingly serious environmental pollution,it is becoming more and more important to reduce energy consumption and maintain the sustainable development of the economy.It is of theoretical and practical significance to understand the specific mechanism of the decline in energy intensity and to clarify the reasons for the continuous decline of energy intensity in China in recent years.This paper mainly refers to the theoretical basis of Christian Haas and Karol Kempa(2016),From the angle of the relationship between energy intensity and technological progress and the change of energy price,the problem of biased technological progress and energy intensity change mechanism is put forward.Based on the literature review of biased technological progress and energy intensity decomposition,the decomposition method of energy intensity and the estimation model of biased technological progress are selected.According to the current research on energy intensity,Christian Haas and Karol Kempa(2016)has been improved in this paper,and an estimation model of energy intensity change factors including biased indicators of technological progress has been constructed.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The source of China’s energy decline is mainly due to the efficiency improvement of various sectors.The contribution of structural adjustment is relatively low,and it plays a leading role only in a few years;(2)There is a complementary relationship between energy and capital in most industries in China.The main direction of technological progress is capital biased and energy saving;(3)Capital biased technological progress has played a role in promoting the decline in energy intensity,second only to the relative price of energy.The government can reduce energy intensity for different types of enterprises,using alternative relations between elements and mechanism of biased technological progress. |
