Design And Practice For Geographic Information Generalization Platform Of Cities Level

With the development of Internet of things,large data,cloud computing,spatial information acquisition and integration technology,digital city and smart city has been already carried out throughout the country in recent years.The development of city geographic information infrastructure is also increasing the demand for existing GIS processing technologies.The traditional scale of geographic information data collection,processing,database,publishing technology has been unable to meet the social,economic and other development needs.It is urgent to implement the automatic downsizing and rapid cartographic of multiple types of spatial data in multiple dimensions,according to the multi-scale unified factor management application pattern.This paper designed and constructed the overall framework and function blocks of the urban geography information based on the NewMap WJ-III map workstations,on the basis of analyzing the urban geographic information data types and map downsizing business requirements.It also summarized the common knowledge base and mapping knowledge base which are suitable for the downsizing of urban geographic information from the aspects of generalization principle,algorithm parameters,processing effect and so on.And then for the points of interest,roads,water systems,buildings,vegetation and other elements have worked out the generalization and mapping of the cartographic generalization process and mapping template.Taking the smooth algorithm of local sharp convex angles of curve as an example,this paper makes an in-depth study on the use of optimize and use.In order to solve the problem of human-computer interaction,the algorithm of 51 cities is used to realize the interactive application for users and to study the workflow of the map synthesis process.The above design and research of the paper has been verified and realized in the platform of mapping and mapping of geographic information in Nanjing.The effect of geography information downsizing has been highly recognized by industry experts,which has great reference significance for other cities in China.
