The development and application of semiconductor lasers are rapidly and widely used,but the heat dissipation problem of semiconductor laser has become the main bottleneck restricting its development.Thermoelectric refrigeration has the advantages of simple structure,small size and easy to encapsulate the semiconductor laser.In this paper,a widely used butterfly-shaped fiber Bragg grating stabilized semiconductor laser is used as the research object,And the influence of temperature on the optical output performance of semiconductor lasers is discussed.Finally,a more reasonable temperature control scheme for semiconductor laser is proposed.The main research idea is to start with the influence of the temperature factor on the semiconductor laser.Through the simulation,the necessity and effectiveness of the thermoelectric refrigeration module for the butterfly shaped semiconductor laser are considered.The simulation shows that the TEC refrigeration module has good temperature control,and the temperature control temperature of the LD is more important,and the maximum temperature difference is only 1.54 ?.Through experiments,the effect of temperature on the performance of semiconductor lasers is discussed.The performance of semiconductor lasers working in high temperature and low temperature regions is studied in depth.It is found that the threshold current increases 1 times when the temperature rises 25 ?.When the temperature is below 10 ?,the laser shows good stability.In addition,the laser quality decreased under high driving current.When the input current increased by 1A,the width of the main lobe of the output laser increased by 13%.Through data analysis,the effects of temperature and driving current on the performance of semiconductor lasers under several special conditions are presented.In general,low and suitable input current and low temperature control can give the laser the best performance and stability.In this paper,the ideas of semiconductor lasers in some special applications are optimized.
