Yellow-green light has a very wide range of applications in biological detection,medical treatment and chemistry.The sum-frequency Raman laser is an effective means of obtaining yellow-green light.The laser rate equation is an effective theoretical tool for analyzing active Q-switched lasers.However,the current active Q-switching intracavity and frequency Raman laser rate equations use small signal approximation,and there is a big gap between theoretical simulation and actual conditions.In view of this situation,this paper develops relevant theoretical and experimental studies.Theoretically,a theoretical model for the dynamic approximation of the active Q-switched intracavity and frequency Raman laser rate equation is deduced.This theoretical model is more in line with the actual situation than the small signal approximation.In the experiment,laser-diode pumped active Q-switched c-cut Nd:GdVO4 self-Raman lasers were first studied experimentally.In this experiment,the lasers output 1166 nm and 1176 nm at the same time,and the corresponding Raman shifts are 807 cm-1 and 882 cm-1.At a pulse repetition rate of 20 kHz,the maximum output power at 1166 nm is 103 mW and the pump power at this time is 2.31 W.At a pump power of 4.11 W,the output power at 1176 nm reaches 530 mW.The maximum output power of Raman light is 570 mW when the pump power is 4.11 W and the repetition rate is 30 kHz.When the repetition rate of 30 kHz pump power is 3.67 W,the light-to-optical conversion efficiency reaches 14.9%,and the average output power of Stokes light is 547 mW.Secondly,an experimental study of the KTP and frequency c-cut Nd:GdVO4 self-Raman lasers was performed.In this experiment,the laser output was 559 nm sum-frequency light.At a pump power of 4.11 W with a repetition rate of 10 kHz,the maximum output power of 559 nm reached 55 mW and the pulse width was 12.27 ns.Finally,an experimental study of LBO and frequency a-cut Nd:GdVO4 self-Raman lasers was performed.In this experiment,the laser outputs 545 nm sum-frequency light.At a pump power of 4.5W repetition frequency of 20 kHz,the maximum output power of 557 nm reached 275 mW.
