According to the requirements of the current high power and high brightness semiconductor laser fiber coupling module,based on the characteristics of the semiconductor laser,as well as the theory of collimation,beam combining and fiber coupling,20 green semiconductor laser single emitter are spatially combined through optical transformation.Designed and prepared a power 10 W,fiber optic core diameter of 400 microns green fiber coupling module.The paper uses ZEMAX ray tracing software to design the fast and slow axis collimating lens,the defocusing lens group and the fiber-coupled disambiguating lens group of the green laser TO emitter.The whole module passes through the beam collimation,spatial beam combination,beam expander shaping and optical fiber in sequence.The coupling technology realizes the high-power fiber coupling output of the green semiconductor laser,and the theoretically obtainable optical fiber coupling efficiency reaches over 98%.Through the device selection,assembling,testing and other processes to complete the coupling module preparation experiment,the experiment will be 20 green laser output power of 1 W coupled to the diameter of 400 ?m,numerical aperture of 0.22 fiber,at 1.5 A The continuous output power obtained by current excitation is close to 10.1 W,and the corresponding fiber coupling efficiency is about 84.2%.In the experiment,the coupling efficiency is lower than the theoretical value,and the reasons for this are mainly the various deviations of the alignment of the fast and slow axis collimating lenses and the various errors that occur during docking of the fiber coupling system.Finally,corresponding improvements measures are proposed.Through theoretical analysis and experiments,it can be proved that the design scheme and structure of the green semiconductor laser fiber coupling module studied in this paper is feasible.
