The availability of Space-Time Big Data provides a new method for Urban planning research,which gives multiple perspective to explore the relationship between population activity and urban space.Based on Baidu Map Data,this paper analyzes the characteristics and influencing factors of resident activities in the main urban area of Wuhan City.It compares public activity space system and the urban planning spatial structure,in order that enrich the methods of urban space research and provide scientific foundation for constructing a reasonable planning.First of all,by collecting network data from Baidu map heat map and POI data,the study uses GIS platform to process data and build a database.Through statistical analysis,it has found that the regularity of residents' activity has a periodic change,which in accordance with the daily routine.In terms of spatial characteristics of activities,the three towns of Wuhan shows different forms of crowded activities.In Hankou distric,there was a concentrated spatial distribution of people.In Wuchang distric,there was a linear arrangement along the main road,and only a few punctiform distributions in Hanyang.From the perspective of the characteristics of dynamic changes in time and space,crowd activities show multiple points of concentration-equilibrium persistence-changes in marginal diffusion during the day.By drawing the track of the center of gravity of the crowd during different periods of time,it has found that the working day is more likely to be affected by the work than the rest day and presents a “roundtrip” form.Comparing the spatial distribution of day and night activities,using the analysis of average nearest neighbor analysis,it was confirmed that the nighttime activities of the crowd were more dispersed to the edge of the main city than daytime activities.Secondly,by analyzing the influencing factors of the activity space and using SPSS for correlation,it was found that the mix of urban life facilities in the area was positively related to the spatial aggregation of activities,especially the commercial service facilities,transportation facilities,and research and education facilities in the main city area.Secondly,with regard to the influencing factors of the spatial distribution of activities,it established an index system of influencing factors and used stepwise regression analysis by SPSS software.The resluts show that population activity and volume ratio,population density,richness of living facilities,density of commercial service facilities,and traffic in urban areas There is a positive correlation between facility density,research and education facility density,and road network density.While building density,waterfront accessibility,and distance from the nearest rail transit site are negative influence factors.Based on Baidu map data,the public space activity structure system is summarized as "Three-level activity center + compound development axis + two kinds of activity concentration agglomeration area".Compared the Top-Down general planning with Bottom-Up public space system formed by the activities,the result shows that the spatial planning of traditional planning,based on population size,land use and economic development,was significantly different from the spatial system of public activities formed by crowd activities.There are obvious mismatches such as the incomplete development of the multi-centered systems and various groups planning,and lack of vitality along the river axis.To solve these problems and promote the balanced development of urban activities,it comes up with some suggestions,for example,accelerate the planning and implementation of urban multi-center systems,enrich city functions along the river axis,and improve the public facilities of peripheral groups.
