Ye badong lead-zinc deposit,on the side of the Yangtze block,is located in the transition zone of jiangnan orogenic belt and Yangtze continental block.In this paper,the authors tested and analyzed the physical and chemical characteristics of sphalerites,the geochemical characteristics of the elements of ore and surrounding rock,the geochemical characteristics of rare earth elements of ore and surrounding rocks,the geochemical characteristics of sulfur lead isotope.Results show:(1)Ye badong lead-zinc deposit occur in Shilenshui formation and Qingxudong formation that belong to Cambrian series Lithostratigraphy.The ore minerals include sphalerite,galena,smithsonite,cerussite,pyrite and so on,the gangue minerals include limonite,dolomite,chalcedony and so on.Ores are of amorphous~euhedral,metasomatic pseudomorph,corrugation,poikilitic texture and stellate,mottled,crumby,dense massive,brecciated,crusty structure and so on.Wall rock alteration just include dolomitization and ferritization.(2)The ore-forming fluids,mixed the construction of water and the deep-sourced fluids,and material of Ye badong lead-zinc deposit mainly come from surrounding rocks,where the sulfate minerals provide sulfur,and the ore lead,maybe come from Palang formation,come from the upper crust.(3)TSR played a major role in the forming process of reduced sulphur.(4)The lead-zinc deposit is formed in lower temperature and shallow environment.(5)The multistage activity of the Longjinstreet fault produced many smaller faults and many interlayer fracture zones,and then the fluids,including the construction of water and the deep-sourced fluids,reacted with the surrounding rock and carried on the ore-forming elements when migrating along small faults,and enrichment mineralization in the ore structures.(6)To sum up,Ye badong lead-zinc deposit belong to sediment-reformed deposits which were filled with hydrothermal.
