The Research On The Model Combination Of Information Propagation And Public Opinion Evolution

Most of real-word systems,such as biological system,World Wide Web and social system,can be represented by complex networks which nodes represent individuals or organizations and the links between the nodes represent the relationship between them.With the advent of the Web 2.0 era,social networks represented by Sina Weibo,online communities,Twitter and Facebook have profoundly influenced the way of our thinking and behavior.The enrichment of information presentation methods,the diversification of information transmission forms,the continuous popularization and expansion of social networks has accelerated the dissemination of information and made the information dissemination model more complicated.The study of the dynamic process of information dissemination and opinion evolution on complex networks through mathematical modeling has very important theoretical research values and practical application values for furthering understanding the characteristics and propagation laws of information propagation and public opinion evolution in social networks.The individual's views on the formation of a certain kind of event are often related to their experience,cultural background,educational background and life customs.Such views are gradually formed in the individual's life experience which are relatively stable,such as political position,stereotyped impression of a certain identity group and so on.We called this view individual attitude in this paper.Furthermore,the distribution of attitude tendencies can reflect the controversy about the topic,we can predict the effect of information dissemination and public sentiment.Many studies often decouple information diffusion from the evolution of the public opinion.However,in fact,the dissemination of information and the opinion evolution are often accompanied by each other.In this paper,we study the process of information dissemination and the process of public opinion evolution on single layer network firstly,then we propose a model that combine information dissemination with opinion evolution and consider the individual attitudes tendencies to study how the individual attitudes tendencies affect the information diffusion and opinion evolution.The results of the numerical simulation show that the more controversial the topic is,the discussion will more intense and more lasting,the speed of information dissemination will be faster and the scope of the communication will be wider.At the same time,the controversy of topic will hinder the formation of consensus opinion.
