PT(parity-time)symmetry theory has attracted much attention in recent years.It points out that as long as the Hamiltonian in space-time reversal symmetry transform remains the same,system can also be described with real eigenvalue.PT symmetric perfected the quantum mechanics theory on the Hermitian Hamiltonian theory,promote the development of quantum mechanics.Combined the gain and the dissipation of the optical system,can break the system of time reversal symmetry,is a good platform for exploring PT symmetry theory.Based on PT symmetric optical platform,this paper explores the system of PT broken symmetry induced nonlinear enhancement effect.The main contents include:1.We studied the nonlinear PT symmetric cavity system of high order sideband enhancement effect.Starting from the theoretical research,we consider two microcavity,one is the linear cavity containing a gain medium,the other is the attenuation of nonlinear medium are embedded cavity,the two microcavity by photon hence wear mutual coupling,PT symmetric system.Non-linear damping cavity under the two-color laser driver,can produce optical nonlinear effects.By using the perturbation method,we obtained the attenuation in lumen output spectrum analytical results of second-order sideband.Numerical simulation found in PT symmetric systems second-order sideband produce efficiency can be greatly enhanced,especially at the critical point of PT broken symmetry.At the same time,studied several important system parameters(such as photon tunneling rate between the optical cavity,nonlinear intensity and detuning of the light field quantity,etc.)for the second order sideband efficiency influence.Furthermore,we use the Fourier transform to simulate the output sideband of higher order spectral lines,and found that compared with damping system,high order sideband produce efficiency also have obvious enhancement.Due to the high order sideband has an important application in optical frequency comb applications,our research has potential applications in optical communications.2.We put forward the solution of photon blocking enhancing effect under the PT symmetric optical systems.Photo blocking effect has a broad application in switching devices,quantum communication and quantum information etc.Under the nonlinear damping and linear gain cavity coupling of PT symmetric systems,nonlinear optics will be greatly enhanced.Through numerical simulation of photonic second-order correlation functions,we are studying the influence of PT symmetry to photon blocking.Studies have found that even in a Kerr nonlinear strength,photons tunneling rate and drive strength are smaller than the cavity dissipation,there is an obvious photonic blocking phenomenon in the system.Our study provides the method of peeking the relevant contact between PT symmetric and photon blocking.This study has a potential application in using PT symmetric to build integrated single photon source.To sum up,we conducted based on gain-dissipative optical microcavity build PT symmetry in the system,high order sideband and photon blocking effect of produce efficiency enhancement of theoretical research.We put forward the solution in the integrated optical communication based on the optical frequency comb and based on the single photon source of quantum information network have important potential applications.
