Hatu gold deposit is located in Xiemisitai-Kulankazigan Paleozoic Composite island arc zone within Kazakhstan-Junggar plate.The Qi-? gold deposit is distributed in the mature gold ore belt and has good heat source and structural conditions.The surface and shallow geological characteristics of the deposit indicate that there is a great potential for prospecting in the deep part.In order to find the deep hidden ore body in the Qi-? gold deposit,the regional geological background and the geological characteristics of the mining area have been studied.And through the analysis of ore and rock characteristics,deep metallogenic characteristics,ore deposit types and halo formation,we study the main ore controlling structure of spatial distribution and distribution characteristics of primary halo.The following points have been made:1.Take Qi-? gold ore in the Hatu gold deposit is divided into quartz vein and altered rock type gold ore altered rocks is mainly composed of arsenopyrite,pyrite and quartz veins interspersed with tuffaceous siltstone,silty mudstone and tuff containing pyrite basalt.Altered surrounding rocks are symmetrical or asymmetrical distributed on both sides or ends of quartz veins.The general boundary between quartz veins and surrounding rocks is clear,while the ores formed by altered rocks and ore bearing rocks show gradual transition relationship.2.Ore bodies are mainly distributed in the South Antsi thrust fault footwall,roughly parallel to the distribution and tendency in en echelon.According to the distribution characteristics of the ore body group in the space,it can be divided into two main ore bearing belts in the South Zone and the north zone.Bounded by F3 faults(including F3),to the north of Anqi fracture is the north side of ore belt and F3 fracture to the South is the south side of ore belt.The plane is approximately two parallel distribution profile,a complex shape imbricate south side is the diagonal distribution.3.Deposit Sb,As remote indicator elements and ore-forming elements of Au,correlation coefficient of concentration is high.The element zoning is nested overlap distribution.The leading edge-the near-ore-Halo element superimposed halo 400-500 meters deep.The distribution of the halo zone in the form of imbricate is in full agreement with the gold ore structure belt.It indicates that there is a blind ore belt with the regular distribution of the imbricate pattern in the deep part.4.The Hatu gold indicator elements zoning sequence and the typical gold deposit indicates the element zoning sequence were compared with correlation between the classification results obtained with homogeneous front halo elements Hg,As,Sb;near the ore elements into Ag,Cu,Pb,Zn;the tail halo elements the combination: W,Ni,Bi.The distribution of the halo zone in the form of imbricate is in full agreement with the gold ore structure belt.It indicates that there is a blind ore belt with the regular distribution of the imbricate pattern in the deep part.
