Study On Emergency Management Of Sudden Geological Disasters In Guangzhou City

Guangzhou is the capital of Guangdong Province which located in south-central Guangdong Province.The terrain is northeast high-southwest low.There are more.hills,more northern rainfall in the north than the south.Affected by the combined effects of crustal movement,lithology,fold and fault structure and external forces,there are complex and diverse landform types including mountains,hills,platforms and plains.In recent years,the intensification of human activities,massive extraction of groundwater and large-scale exploitation of mineral resources,accelerated soil erosion and land desertification,induced and aggravated land subsidence,ground subsidence,ground fissures,land salinization,swamping,collapse,flow,mine disasters and other geological disasters and the development of hazards.These geological disasters have the characteristics of wide distribution,strong destructiveness,concealment and easy chain disaster,which cause great economic loss and casualties to people.According to the status quo of geological disasters and economic and social development,we found that except for the method of engineering treatment and relocation and evasion to a few serious geological disasters,we can only take monitoring and warning for the vast majority of geological disasters.Grasp the scale of the disaster body,the rate of deformation,analyze its stability,and predict the time it happens,so as to achieve the purpose of disaster prevention and reduction.This article,the emergency management of sudden geological disasters in Guangzhou City is taken as the object.By using literature research,comparative analysis and questionnaire survey,analysis the status of emergency management of sudden geological disasters in Guangzhou City,including the general situation of geological disasters in Guangzhou,the organization of emergency management,the personnel and capital input of emergency management,the construction of emergency management legal system and the main contents of emergency management are analyzed.Then it is found that there are some problems,the deficiency of the basic work of geological disasters,inadequate construction of geological disaster monitoring and early warning network,geological disasters management disorder,people generally lack awareness of prevention and so on in the emergency management of sudden geological disasters in Guangzhou City.The main causes of the problems are the lack of personnel in the professional prevention and treatment team,the unbalanced investment in prevention and control,the imperfect system of emergency management in geological disasters and the publicity and education of geological disasters which are not in place.In view of the actual situation of sudden geological disasters in Guangzhou City,the countermeasures to strengthen the emergency management of sudden geological disasters in Guangzhou are put forward including strengthening the construction of qualified personnel,increasing the basic work of geological disasters,improving the emergency management of sudden geological disasters,establishing and improving various regulations,increasing publicity and education efforts.So as to further improve the management level and provide a reference for relevant departments of emergency management in Guangzhou,to minimize the losses caused by sudden geological disasters to people’s lives and property,and promote social stability and sustainable development.
