Soft materials possess unique properties,which are sensitive to outside tiny force,and they have the characteristics of nonlinear deformation response.Soft materials applied in all fields,involving different subjects.So,it is of great significance to study the soft materials properties.A mechanical performance test methods for soft materials was presented,and corresponding equipment and experiment were developed.Firstly,the general overview of soft materials was described,and pointed out the significance of mechanical performance test for soft materials.At the same time,the basis situation and development trend of the mechanics experiment platform was analysed,and the method put forward was expounded,the advantages of the method were pointed out.Secondly,the working principle of the system and the control method and realizat io n were presented.Analyzed the working principle of the voice coil motor,and the control strategy of voice coil motor is expounded.According to the vertical installation of the motor,chose the corresponding phase correction method was chosen;PID + velocity / acceleration feed-forward position loop and PI current loop control method were analysed,summar ized the influence of various control parameters on the motor;the motor motion controller and control instruction format were described in detail.And according to the control instruct io n format and required function,corresponding experiment platform instruction programs were designed.Thirdly,soft materials mechanical properties test equipment was developed from two aspects of hardware and software.In hardware aspect,corresponding experimental platform were established according to the selected hardware structures.And the tensile fixt ures alignment,motor vertical installation and debugging methods were put forward.In software aspect,system calibration program was designed,and calibration procedure was done;factors cause force value error were analysed,and corresponding compensation method was put forward,program was designed to contrast the force results read from PC before and after correction;the system soft-landing function was explained and corresponding program was designed to adjust soft-landing force;other PC programs were designed,includ i ng: system initialization,motor on and off,position adjustment,tensile and compression experiment,fatigue experiment.Finally,tensile,compression,and loading-unloading experiments of high power LED potting silicone were finished based on the developed experimental platform.The experiment contents including sample making,experimental design and verificat io n.Researched on different content of phosphor,aging time and strain rate on the mechanica l properties of silicone.The results show that the experimental data wel,and verified the feasibility of test system.
