Dalizi iron deposit in Linjiang area of Jilin Province has a hundred years of mining history. Its proven ore reserves have reached a large scale, and it is the largest and most important rich iron mineral resource basement in Jilin province. It is also one of important iron-rich deposits hosted in the Proterozoic metamorphic system in North China. The Dalizi iron deposit is a typical sedimentary metamorphic and hydrothermal superposition deposit. This paper mainly focuses on siderite mineralization in the middle part of the Dalizi ore district, combined with Dongshan mining area,Dongzhong mining area,Dongfeng mining area, and Xiaolizi I,?,? mining area and surrounding mining areas.Based on the ore-controlling engineers and existing data on three iron ore bodies in the deep part of the mining area, spatial distribution, shape and occurrence of deep ore bodies, ore quality and its change regularities have been studied, and the regional geological background, geological conditions and geological characteristics of the Dalizi iron deposit are discussed. Moreover, the mineralization enrichment regularity of "Dalizi type" iron deposit are summarized, which provides basis for deep ore-prospecting and geological prospecting of surrounding area. The research results will be helpful for expanding the prospective resources of the Dalizi iron deposit, extending service life and stabilizing production capacity of deposit.
