The damaged mountain and abandoned mining area has seriously affected the regional eco-safety by mining of mineral resources,together with biodiversity loss.How to recover the biological diversity as far as possible in the process of artificial vegetation restoration is one of the issues concerned by restoration ecologists.In this study,the damaged mountain body of Sibao moiuntain in Zibo city after vegetation restoration was taken as the research object.The structural characteristics of plant and insect communities under 12 different vegetation restoration models were investigated.On this basis,the plant and insect species diversity under 12 restoration modes were analyzed,and the comprehensive evaluation was carried out by using subordinate function method to assess their diversity recovery.The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of different artificial restoration models on biodiversity and to select suitable tree species and restoration models for vegetation restoration in mines.It provides basis and reference for vegetation restoration of similar mines in the future.The main results of this study are as follows:1.Based on the investigation of the basic situation of plant and insect communities,it is concluded that first result is to evaluate the adaptability of different forest tree species by the differentiation of tree height.The results are successively from strong to weak: Rhus typhinat,Cotinus coggygria,Cercis chinensis,Prunus ceraifera,Sophora japonica,Koelreuteria integrifoliola,Sophora japonica,Celtis bungeana,Pinus thunbergii,Platycladus orientalis and Euonymus maackii.The second result of the ratio of species number and individual number of insect community reflects the relative stability of the community showed that the stability of Pinus thunbergii pure forest,Prunus ceraifera pure forest and Koelreuteria integrifoliola pure forest was higher than natural restoration slope.2.According to the investigation and study on the diversity of plant species,it is concluded that:(1)compared with the natural recovery of slope,there are 9 kinds of four woody plant species diversity of artificial recovery mode measure index were significantly better than the slope of natural recovery,Prunus ceraifera pure forest is optimal performance,its Shannon-Weiner index value is 1.53,Simpson index value is 0.23,Margalef index value is 1.18,Pielou index value was 0.85;(2)compared with natural restoration barren slope,four indexes of species diversity of herbs with 5 kinds of restoration modes were significantly superior to natural restoration barren slope,among which Pinus thunbergii pure forest is the best performance,its Shannon index value is 1.89,Simpson index value is 0.17,Margalef index value is 2.21 and Pielou index value is 0.82.On the whole,most of the artificial restoration models have significantly effects on the diversity of plant species.3.According to the investigation and study on the diversity of insect species,the result showed that only the total species diversity index of the pure forest of Pinus thunbergii is significantly better than the natural restoration slope in the artificial afforestation recovery model.Its Shannon-Weiner index value is 1.84,Simpson index value is 0.2,Margalef index value is 1.96,Pielou index value is 0.84,shows that the insect community structure best recovery mode.4.According to the correlation analysis of plant species diversity and insect species diversity,the Pearson correlation coefficient r value between insect species diversity and herb species diversity is 0.734,and there is a significant positive correlation between them(P < 0.01).5.The plant species diversity and insect species diversity recovery effect of different restoration pattern shows that: The 12 different vegetation restoration models of plant and insect species diversity restoration effect from high to low in order is: Pinus thunbergii?Prunus ceraifera?Sophora japonica?Koelreuteria integrifoliola?Acer mono?Platycladus orientalis?Euonymus maackii?Celtis bungeana?natural restoration slope?Cotinus coggygria and Rhus typhinat.The restoration effect of the Cotinus coggygria pure forest and Rhus typhinat pure forest are lower than natural restoration slope,so we suggest regulate it to mixed forest.The Sophora japonica pure forest?Koelreuteria integrifoliola pure forest?Euonymus maackii pure forest and Acer mono pure forest have potential risk of insect pest outbreak.Therefore,it is suggested to strengthen monitoring,and if necessary,regulate them to mixed forest.The insect species diversity of Celtis bungeana pure forest and Platycladus orientalis pure forest is not good,so we suggest continue to follow up the investigation.The Pinus thunbergii pure forest?Prunus ceraifera pure forest and Cercis chinensis pure forest is the best 3 patterns on improving the effect of plant and insect species diversity,and no potentially serious forest pests were found in these 3 patterns.They are the most suitable restoration model for the improvement of plant and insect species diversity in the existing restoration patterns in this region.So 3 tree species of Pinus thunbergii?Prunus ceraifera and Cercis chinensis are the most suitable for the improvement of plant and insect species diversity in the ecological restoration area of Sibao mountain mine.It is recommended to use and continue to study and verify.
