Remanufacturing is an industrial process that used products/components also called cores are returned to “like new or better-than-new” functional state with reductions to costs,energy consumption and material.Reuse-oriented redesign is a key step of implementing remanufacturing,and a design process of considering the remanufacturing technologies and condition of the End-of-Life(EoL)product and designing a remanufactured product with new function and structure,which is one of the key technology of remanufacturing used parts/product.How to make a balance between used product redesign and used parts redesign is the key to achieve the maximum comprehensive benefits of used product.On the basis of the projects from Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC),this paper implements the research of redesign of used mechanical equipment from the perspective of redesign objectives.Firstly,the connotation of redesign is analyzed and then the redesign process of used mechanical equipment is introduced.The mathematic model of Analytical Target Cascading(ATC)method is then presented to illustrate its theory and mechanism.Based on the characteristics of redesign process of used mechanical equipment,a used mechanical equipment redesign process model based on ATC is proposed.Secondly,the basic characteristics of used mechanical equipment and demands information are comprehensively considered.Then,a redesign information characterization method of used mechanical equipment is established to describe the damage condition,failure mode and degree,remaining useful life and demands information.Coupled with the proposed information,a linear regression model is adopted to acquire the range of redesign objectives to restrain redesign of used mechanical equipment.Thirdly,with regard to design process complexity problems of used mechanical equipment,the optimization problem attribute is analyzed.Then,teaching and learning method is adopted to solve this problem.A multi-objective optimization model considering remanufacturing cost,energy consumption and material consumption is established.After that,an adaptive based teaching factor is proposed to suit the proposed model.Finally,on a basis of the proposed methods,the used turning lathe(model C6140)is taken as the research object to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.The target cascading model of the main parts,components,and the whole machine is established.An adaptive teaching and learning optimization method is proposed to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
