Explosives were the main source of engineering geophysical exploration and oil/gas resources exploration before the widespread use of spark sources.However,the application of explosives has many disadvantages of inconvenient transportation,strong damage for environmental during explosion,uncontrollable explosion range,which is very likely to cause safety accidents.All of the above reasons will greatly increase the cost of geological exploration funds,the labor and the time.It is critical to develop a new source,such as the electric spark source.The electric spark source can produce the same vibration effect as the explosive source.Compared with the explosive source,the electric spark source has many characteristics of extremely easy control,small safety hazards,clean for environmental.Therefore,the application of electric spark source in engineering geophysical exploration or in shallow geological exploration is more and more extensive.With the development of science and technology and the continuous updating of scientific research results,the stability and applicability of new spark source have been continuously improved.Electric spark source has been successfully applied to on-site construction.However,the Internet of Things has gradually become a trend of the times in the current development of social science and technology.If a new generation of spark sources is designed with the technology and thinking of the Internet of Things,this will greatly reduce communication costs and time costs in on-site construction.The main work of this paper is to accomplish the data interaction between the hardware end of the EDM instrument,the mobile control end of the Android system app and the remote server.The Bluetooth system is used to control the charging and discharging of the spark source by the Android system,and the real-time data such as the current value and the voltage value obtained by the spark source are returned to the Android operating system.Then,the production data of the spark source,the environment of the on-site construction and other related data are sent to the server in time by the mobile control terminal,thereby realizing the remote communication between the mobile terminal and the server.This not only monitors the daily working status and work record of the spark source,but also greatly facilitates the remote technical staff to provide technical support and other assistance to the on-site construction personnel.
