Model predictive control(MPC)is a modern control theory developed in the 1980s.Based on the system prediction model,the idea of receding horizon optimization and feedback correction are empolyed to optimize the objective function and obtain the minimum control force to minimize the deviation between the target output and the expected value.MPC can be applied to multi-input and multi-output systems with coupling between input and output.And constraints such as control constraints,control increments and output constraints can be considered by MPC.Recently,this control method has been widely applied to multiple research fields.The theory of predictive control algorithm is introduced firstly,which can be applied to the field of vibration control.The MPC algorithm is applied to realize the aim of control through computer simulation.By analizing and researching the diesel engine double-layer active vibration isolation system,the MPC system can be established.And the appropriate parameters of predictive control can be selected according to the influence of the parameters on the performance indicators of the vibration isolation system.The closed-loop system output curves of Proportion Integral Differential(PID)and MPC algorithms under various working conditions are obtained by simulation.The comparative results show that the control performance of the MPC algorithm is better.When the feedforward strategy is applied in MPC algorithm,the MPC system with disturbance estimator is designed.The disturbance observation and feedforward compensation are performed for sinusoidal interference.The simulation results show that the significant effect of vibration reduction can be achieved.by the feedforward feedback control strategy.This paper focuses on the application of MPC in the systems with multivariable.The MPC algorithm and Linear Quadratic Guass Control(LQG)algorithm are applied in the active suspension control system,and the control effects of the two algorithm are analyzid and compared.When dealing with the optimal control problem of multivariable constraint system,SIMULINK simulation model is established for the MPC active suspension system with the constraints of tire dynamic displacement,suspension travel and actuator force.Finally,Under the low speed condition of the vehicle,assuming that the information of road condition is known,the feedforward compensation is applied to the roadside input information in the active suspension MPC control system.The simulation results verify the superiority of the preview controller in active suspension system.Finally,the principle and the calculation flow of explicit model predictive control are introduced.And take the active suspension model of single wheel vehicle as an example,and apply the explicit model predictive control technology to the vehicle active suspension system.The applicability and effectiveness of the method can be verified by computer simulation.
