In recent years,with the growing of manned space technology,the communication problem in the blackout area has become the focus of attention.This paper studies the problem of electromagnetic wave transmission in the blackout zone based on the blackout zone communication technology.A method of applying an electromagnetic field at the antenna window of an aircraft is proposed,Comparative analysis of the attenuation coefficient of electromagnetic waves in the plasma sheath without the electromagnetic field and the attenuation coefficient of the electromagnetic wave after applying the electromagnetic field in the plasma sheath.It is concluded that the applied electromagnetic field can improve the transmission of electromagnetic waves in the blackout zone.The main content of this paper is:Firstly,Introducing the causes and background of the blackout and the significance and necessity of solving the blackout problem.Comparing several different ways to solve the blackout problem,Proposing the method of applying electromagnetic field method to solve communication problems in blackout areas.Subsequent introduction to the dielectric properties and electromagnetic properties of plasma sheaths,The analysis of the transmission problem of electromagnetic waves in plasma sheaths at different heights is based on equivalent wave impedance and adaptive layering method.Secondly,establish an applied electric field and magnetic field plasma sheath model,Study the effect of external electric field and magnetic field on the internal characteristics of plasma sheath,Comparison of electromagnetic wave attenuation coefficients in plasma sheath models at different heights with applied electric and magnetic fields and no applied electric and magnetic fields,It is concluded that the applied electric field and magnetic field can improve the communication effect of electromagnetic waves in the black obstacle zoneFinally,the electromagnetic wave model of the external electromagnetic field plasma sheath is established.The simulation analysis of the attenuation coefficient of electromagnetic waves in the plasma sheath is based on the applied electromagnetic field and the field without the applied field,the applied electric field and the applied magnetic field.It is concluded that the applied electromagnetic field has a greater improvement effect on the communication state of the communication electromagnetic wave in the plasma sheath than the applied electric field and magnetic field.Subsequently,the communication status of electromagnetic waves in the ground-to-air link under the applied electromagnetic field is simulated and analyzed.It is concluded that the communication frequency of electromagnetic wave communication is favorable when the plasma sheath is applied with electromagnetic fields at two heights of 21km and 73km.
