Genotype Identification And Case Analysis Of Canine Parvovirus

Canine parvovirus disease is caused by the canine parvovirus which is a highly contact infectious spirited contagion.It usually occurred on 2 to 6 months puppies and is one of the most common clinical infectious diseases.The main symptoms of this disease are repeated vomiting,diarrhea,severe cases of bleeding and non-suppurative myocarditis,which eventually lead to death.The disease can be prevented by vaccination or take symptomatic treatments to reduce the mortality.The incidence of canine parvovirus disease is related to age,sex,variety,season,the vaccination and other factors.Besides,the virus has a lager number of subspecies which are difficult to prevent and control.In order to explore the incidence of canine parvovirus disease in Urumqi area and improve the clinical treatment effect,it is very important to understand the case analysis of canine parvovirus and the identification of canine parvovirus virus types in Urumqi.This study contains 40 cases of canine parvovirus cases in animal hospitals of Xinjiang Agricultural University.Through clinical diagnosis and history records,the analysis of canine parvovirus incidence correlates with dog breeds,age,sex,season and vaccination.The author dissected the dead dog and recorded the pathological anatomical changes.Besides,the author also collected the heart,liver,spleen,lung,kidney and small intestine tissue to observe through par-affin sections.Analysis of death causes from the perspective of histopathology.The virus was identified by HA/HI test,direct electron microscopy technique,PCR technique,and the genotype of the strain which were determined from the amino acid sequence analysis.Research results:（1）Based on the 40 cases of canine parvovirus experimental subjects,Teddy and Alaska have the largest number of illnesses.Followed by Samoyed,Golden Retriever,German Shepherd,Tibe-tan Mastiff and other varieties are also sick.Based on the incidence season,the highest incidence season is spring（March to May）,especially in April which is the highest incidence season.Summer is the lowest compared with other seasons.Based on the the age of the experimental subjects,the largest number of diseases usually happen in the 2 to 6 months dogs.In terms of sex,male dogs are more likely to infect this disease than females.In the case of vaccination,the highest rate of CPV occurred to unvaccinated dogs.（2）Paraffin section results show that the organs have varied degrees of the pathological changes.Heart and small intestine are the most serious infectious organs.（3）The results of the identification show that similar canine parvovirus particles are observed under the electron microscopy.The results of 18 samples of Hemagglutination show that signi-ficant agglutination,hemagglutination titer is between 2⁵ to 2¹⁰;hemagglutination inhibition titer is between 2⁶ to 2⁸.Amplification of 375 bp and 583 bp corresponding bands.For 16 samples of amino acid mutations,10 samples were CPV-2a type,3 samples were CPV-2b type,and 3 samples were CPV-2c type.（4）In the aspect of diagnosis and treatments,45 diarrhea cases were accepeted in the clinical admissions.Making the use of canine parvovirus immunogold test paper confirmed 40 cases.After treatments,35 cases of sick dogs were cured.The cure rate was 87.5%.
