The successful development of Jiaoshiba shale gas has accelerated the pace of shale gas exploration and development in China,Shale gas exploration and development practice indicates that one of the key factors for successful development of shale gas is the accurate understanding of shale reservoir.In this paper,the X well area of typical marine shale gas area in southern China is taken as the research object.The goal of the work is to study on the characteristics and reservoir evaluation of high-quality shale reservoir in longmaxi formation and wufeng formation,based on stratigraphy,sedimentology and reservoir geology theory,on the basis of core observation?wafer identification and scanning electron microscope,combined with the geological,logging and geochemical data of the research area.Then we can classify strata,The sedimentary characteristics of longmaxi and wufeng formation in the study area are discussed,and the lithology,physical property,gas bearing and characteristics of pore development of the reservoir are clarified;Then the dynamic and static parameters are combined to evaluate the shale reservoir in the area.In the process of shale reservoir quality evaluation,the weight coefficient of each evaluation parameter is determined and the comprehensive evaluation system of reservoir is established,based on the linear neural network and Matlab toolbox,we can write a program about the reservoir comprehensive evaluation software and conduct research about the comprehensive evaluation of reservoir;Finally,the key factors to control the quality of shale reservoir in this area are revealed by the horizontal correlation between the shale reservoir and the adjacent shale reservoir.It was found that the hydrocarbon generation conditions of the wufeng formation in the three regions of the jiaoye-1,X and pengye-lwere similar,but the reservoir quality were quite different.Jiaoyel well area belongs to high quality shale reservoir(class ?),while the X well area belongs to general shale reservoir(class ?).The comprehensive analysis shows that the difference of shale quality between X well area and Jiaoyel well area is mainly reflected in porosity and gas-bearing property.this is due to the poor preservation condition of X well.The results show that,besides the influence of hydrocarbon generation conditions,the most important factor affecting shale reservoir quality is the preservation condition of shale gas.
