The Liuhe area is located in the southeastern extension part of Jiapigou gold ore belt.The ore-forming conditions in the area are superior,and a large number of gold deposits have been discovered,especially the Dajia gold deposits of Liupiye in the NW trending ductile shear zone have submitted medium-sized reserves of gold resources.Their prospective reserves can reach a large scale,breaking through the traditional idea that there are no large deposits in the Archean high-grade metamorphic zone.At present,the prospecting level of gold deposits in Liuhe area is still low,and the prospecting potential is huge.The main ore-controlling factors in the study area are dark rock series,NW trending ductile shear zone and faults,and magmatic activities in Mesozoic.The main ore types include fractured altered rock-type,cryptoexplosive breccia type,and quartz vein type.The practice of mineral exploration shows that geophysical exploration is the main means of gold prospecting.Since 1991,our team has carried out a large number of geophysical prospecting work of different scales in the research area,including High-precision magnetic method,induced polarization ladder and induced polarization sounding,etc.,but the comprehensive research degree is very low,and even some wrong understandings.On the basis of systematically collecting and sorting out the main geophysical data of the study area from 1991 to 2015,this paper summarizes the characteristics of magnetic and electrical parameters of rock(ore)stones,reprocesses and interprets the aeromagnetic data in the area,establishes the tectonic framework of the study area,and further develops the characteristics of multi-stage magmatic activities in the area.The electrical survey data of the study area and typical mining area are reprocessed,and the main position of the electrical method in gold prospecting is discussed.Through the research work in this paper,it is concluded that high-precision magnetic survey can effectively delineate the tectonic and multi-stage magmatic activity centers in the study area,and roughly determine the favorable part of mineralization within the tectonic belt.The induced polarization method can successfully delineate the distribution,occurrence and burial depth of gold-bearing sulfide enrichment zones in the study area.Gold deposits are mostly controlled by NW-trending deep-source structures.The application of induced polarization method can achieve the purpose of prospecting,but it can not achieve the ideal depth of exploration.Therefore,after controlling the shallow ore bodies,we should adopt the method of controlled of CSAMT to carry out deep exploration.A typical gold deposit is selected in the fractured altered rock-type,cryptoexplosive breccia type,and quartz vein type deposit and its geological characteristics are studied.Combined with the results of geophysical exploration work,a geophysical prospecting model was established to provide a scientific basis for subsequent prospecting.
