Lightning,as one of the most common natural phenomenon in daily life,exists all over the world.The occurrence of lightning poses a certain hazard to gas stations,forests,power plants and other places with potential safety hazards,and even poses a great threat to people's safety.Therefore,the research on the location of lightning is of great significance.At present,the lightning positioning system has problems such as insufficient positioning accuracy and misjudgment caused by interference signals,which makes it impossible to obtain a more accurate location of lightning,and it is difficult to solve the threat of lightning to social life.Aiming at the above problems,a three-dimensional lightning location method based on feature matching is proposed.Firstly,by constructing the time difference location model,the advantages and disadvantages of Taylor series expansion algorithm,Chan algorithm,co-location algorithm and maximum likelihood method are analyzed,and the performance of several algorithms is compared.The results show that the maximum likelihood method has certain advantages in performance compared with other positioning algorithms.At the same time,simulation comparisons are made on different site layouts,and it gets the result that Y-type site layout positioning error is small.Then,due to the low timing accuracy of the lightning positioning system,the clock module of the subsystem is designed,the high-frequency voltage-controlled crystal oscillator and clock tame method are used to improve the timing accuracy of the lightning positioning system;The central station adopts the feature matching method,matching the received lightning signal removes the influence of the interference signal of a single station on the lightning location and reduces the false alarm of the system.The lightning location experiment is carried out in the Hebei Province area using the system scheme.The subsystem is deployed in Taocheng county,Botou county,Dingzhou county and Weixian county to collect lightning signals;The central station processes and calculates the collected data.The results show that the system can calculate the three-dimensional position of lightning in real time and accurately.
