The study of P-T boundary has always been an important geological problem in geosciences field. The boundary of P-T strata in Western Henan Province has been controversy because of the scarcity of fossils, with the lack of studies.Coincidentally, the study of typical P-T strata section in Wanshan,Zhengzhou, can provide certain data references for the determination of P-T interface in Western Henan. At the same time, there are many geological existing in Zhengzhou Wanshan Industrial Park.Although these geological relics have high scientific value, their value is little known and lack of effective protection. Therefore, the typical P-T strata section was compared with the typical normal layer section in North China and the sub-layer section in Henan Province.Accordingly, platform was constructed, science reasonable routes were planned, relevant area identifications were established and sand table models of image were build aiming to carry out the science education. The characteristics of geological heritage were shown, the geological significance was revealed, and the scientific value and protection value was valued through vivid and interesting science education. The purpose of protecting geological heritage will be achieved while realizing its geological tourism significance. The main understanding is as follows:1.Based on the measured P-T section of Wanshan,Zhengzhou, the lithology and sedimentary environment of the section are studied and compared with the domestic stratigraphic profiles. The lithologies of lower, main and upper part of Sunjiatou formation and Liujiagou formation are respectively purple red mudstone(containing calcareous nodule),fine grayish feldspar quartz sandstone in the gray yellow thick layer and pale red thick layer of grain feldspar quartz sandstone.Plant fossils and sporopollen fossils were found in Sunjiagou formation, however, plant fossils, vertebrate fossils,Oboe fossils and sporopollen fossils were found in the Liu Jia Gou formation. The Sunjiagou formation is generally an offshore River-offshore lake sedimentary environment, and the Liu Jia Gou formation is a fluvial sedimentary environment.2.Two popular tourism lines were planned named respectively East Line and West Line, based on the measurement of P-T section in Wanshan,Zhengzhou, and on the principle of humanism, the basic principles of geology, environmental science, geography and other related disciplines are applied to restore the paleogeographic environment by making animal, plant and paleontological sculptures.Detailly,West Line has the main functions of scientific research and science popularization with the secondly function of our, therefore, its expression style is strict and true.East Line is mainly based on popular science and tour, and expresses style card and exaggeration.3.The tourism geological significance of stratigraphic section was preliminarily discussed. The transformation of geological section to geological tourism has led to the development of the related industries and the increase of the social employment rate.At the same time, the development of tourism can bring great economic benefits to the surrounding area and promote the adjustment of the economic structure.More importantly, the scientific value of the geological relics is gradually realized with the study of the content of popular science, finally, the target of protecting geological relics will be achieved. The study of P-T typical geological profiles in study area, not only can provide data support for the study of P-T geological boundary in Henan Province, but also achieve the protection aim of geological relics protection by Planning science popularization line, showing the protection value and scientific value to visitors.
