In recent years,rare-earth luminescent nanomaterials have received more and more attention from researchers,due to their unique physical and chemical properties,such as anti-Stokes luminescence,which makes these luminescent nanomaterials having broad and attractive application in optical devices,three-dimensional display,electronics,lasers,and bioimaging fields.Among the rare-earth luminescent nanomaterials,oxides,fluorides and sulfides are the most three common matrix materials.Because of the high requirements of the preparation process of sulfides,the paper mainly focuses on the research of oxides and fluorides.Oxides have high thermal stability and physical/chemical stability,while fluorides have lower phonon energy.Obviously,both of them have their own advantages and disadvantages,and therefore their application fields are also different.Among the research fields of rare-earth luminescent nanomaterials,the low energy consumption and strong luminescence of fluorides make them more attractive to researchers.Therefore,this paper deals with rare-earth oxides and fluorides,but more focuses on fluorides.The paper not only studies the luminescent properties but also explores the regulation of the morphology of rare earth fluorides,which have came out of a tentative step to the subject mentioned.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Yb2O3 downconversion nanocrystals doped with different Eu3+ion concentrations were prepared by a simple hydrothermal method,which is aimed at to realize different emission intensities of downconversion luminescence.(2)By incorporating Ce/Ln/Mn into the NaGdF4 matrix through a large number of experiments,the realization of the different downconversion emission colors emitted by different doped-ions provides a feasible experimental basis for multi-color adjustment.The white downconversion luminescent emission based on NaGdF4 nanocrystals were successfully synthesized by adjusting the doping ratio of Ce/Eu/Dy ions.(3)The morphology and crystal phase of BaLuFs nanocrystals were explored by adjusting the ratio of Ba2+/Lu3+ions in the reaction solution.Based on this research,it is possible to carry out further more researches,such as the study of upconversion luminescence emission by doping rare earth ions.
