The Research On Investment Environment Evaluation Of Blockchain Industry

In 2014,Germany became the first country to recognize bitcoin as a currency.At this point,block chain technology has entered the mainstream society.Many countries pay great attention to developing the blockchain technology and issue various policies or regulations to promote the development of blockchain industry and technology.In October 2016,the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the White Paper on the Development of China’s Block Chain Technology and Applications.To some extent,it indicates that the Chinese government also maintains a supportive attitude towards the development of the blockchain industry and technology.In December 2016,the State Council issued the National Information Plan for the 13 th Five-Year Plan,which pose it as a strategic emerging industry and encourage all localities to lay out the blockchain industry.In May 2018,a study by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology showed that the industrial ecology of China’s block chain had initially taken shape.Up to now,the vast majority of provinces in China have promulgated relevant policies on block chain industry.Chongqing,as the only municipality directly city under the central government in western China,has issued two policies,which are intended to support the development of blockchain industry and realize Chongqing’s relatively high position in the development of blockchain industry.In other words,evaluating the investment environment of the blockchain industry and clarifying the specific conditions and influencing factors of the investment environment of the block chain industry can help Chongqing to optimize its own blockchain industry investment environment more specifically and effectively,and promote the development of the blockchain industry.At the same time,other cities can also use this as a reference to analyze and takestrategies to promote the development of their own blockchain industry.Firstly,the article analyzes the historical evolution,development status,industrial structure and development characteristics of the blockchain industry.It is found that China’s block chain industry has begun to take shape and can be specifically composed of four categories: foundation,circulation,application and service.It has the development characteristics of relying on computer and Internet technology,having low dependence on natural resources and high requirements of employees,having concentrated distribution of enterprises and high dependence on policies.On the other hand,the analysis of Chongqing blockchain industry and investment environment shows that the development level of Chongqing blockchain industry is at a medium level.In terms of industrial investment,the early development was relatively good but lacked stamina,failing to keep pace with the development speed of investment and the financing scale of block chain industries in the country.Then,based on the analysis of the main influencing factors of the investment environment,combined with the characteristics of the development of the block chain industry and the commonness of the cities with better development level,and the eight basic principles of comprehensiveness,practicability and substitutability,we constructed a relatively comprehensive evaluation index system of the investment environment of the blockchain industry from four aspects of infrastructure,economy,society and policy.Lastly,the principal component analysis method is used to analyze the investment environment of 16 cities,and the score of industrial investment environment of each city blockchain is obtained.Chongqing investment environment in the blockchain industry is relatively poor,ranking 13 th.The investment environment can be optimized from the following aspects: improving Chongqing market conditions,optimizing the industrial structure,strengthening the attraction and training of talents in the block chain industry,promoting the popularization of knowledge related to the blockchain,and formulating clearer industrial support policies with incentive mechanisms.
