Landscape pattern dynamics analysis is an important area of landscape ecology,understanding the spatial distribution of urban vegetation is the premise of the conservation and improvement of urban vegetation.This study uses landscape spatial pattern analysis with the remote sense data covering West Lake Scenic Area from 1987 to 2017,to study the 30-years dynamics evolution of landscape spatial pattern and influencing factor in Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area.This study also applies the field survey of different vegetation types at 2017,to analysis the pattern of vegetation types and plant diversity.The main results are as follows:(1)The area of constructed land,grassland,cropland,and bamboo land increase first and then decrease;area of water is stable;area of tea plantation decreases first and then increases;area of woodland shows an increase-decrease-increased state.The integral landscape distribution pattern of West Lake Scenic Area is determined by natural landscape,different landscape types are subject to changes due to human factors such as policy regulation,urban expansion,economic development and public demands.Buildings,water,farmland,tea garden,bamboo forest are significantly affected by manual planning,after entering the 21st century,they become more natural influenced by ecological thinking.Blue space and green space of West Lake Scenic Area gradually transforme from"self-constructed"to"constructed"and then to"self-constructed"during the past 30 years.The shape of construction land tends to be more regular with human intervention.In the future construction of the West Lake Scenic Area,the control of human intervention will be crucial,and moderate interventions will be combined with natural succession to achieve healthy and sustainable development of the scenic spot.(2)The richness of vegetation type in West Lake Scenic Area declines from the lakeshore to the western mountainous area.The vegetation around the lakeshore is mostly distributed in small patches,but involves higher richness of vegetation types.In western mountains,the evergreen broad-leaved forest,the coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest are the main dominant vegetation types,and most of them are distributed in larger patches.Evergreen broad-leaved forest has the largest growth area of 880.875hm~2,the coniferous forest has the largest reduction,and the deciduous broad-leaved forest has the largest growth during the 30 years.Deciduous broad-leaved forest has the highest species richness,while evergreen broad-leaved forest has the lowest,among different vegetation types,it mainly presents that the richness in shrub layer is higher than herb layer,and that in shrub layer is lowest.(3)Analysis of landscape dynamic evolution characteristics,influencing factors,vegetation distribution patterns and diversity characteristics are based on remote sensing.According to the overall comprehensiveness,landscape diversity,local conditions and sustainable development principles,the existing fragmentation and community structure issues in the scenic area are proposed to optimize landscape fragmentation,biodiversity,forest community structure and strengthen ecological management in the scenic area.So that can provide further reference and theoretical support for the protection and planning of the West Lake Scenic Area,as well as the ecological construction,environmental protection policy formulation and sustainable development of the city.
