Snow is an important ecological environment factor,which has an important impact on natural sciences such as agriculture,meteorology and hydrology in snow-covered areas and mid-high latitudes region.Therefore,using quantitative inversion of snow cove r parameters such as snow surface temperature,to achieve comprehensive and efficient snow monitoring and applicable research is crucial to the agricultural,ecological and economic development of seasonal snow-covered area in China.Due to the insufficient number of meteorological stations,the measured data is greatly affected by natural factors and human factors.Also,the conventional MOD11A1 temperature product data is missing in the snow season due to confusion of clouds and snow,which makes it difficult to meet the practical application requirements for the mid-latitude seasonal snow cover.Therefore,the application of satellite remote sensing monitoring methods with strong timeliness,wide coverage and large amount of information has become an impo rtant boost for snow information research.The Songnen Plain Black Soil Region is an important part of the black soil region in Northeast China.It is located in one of the three seasonal snow-covered areas in China and is also one of the commodity grain bases with the highest commodity rate in China.Winter in The Songnen Plain Black Soil Region is long and the snow melts into the soil,which have important effect on Spring production and spring agricultural production.Therefore,in the black soil region of the Songnen Plain,it has good geographical typicality and regional representativeness for snow research.It is of great significance to carry out the snow surface temperature inversion work.The snow surface temper-ature inversion results can be the agricultural production and water circulation in the area.Providing data support and scientific evidence for climate change.This study summarizes the main sensors and main methods of snow surface temperature inversion in snow research.In order to effectively solve the problem of missing snow surface temperature data,insufficient number of meteorological stations,and the mixe d pixel problem existing in quantitative inversion,it is necessary to explore the snow surface temperature inversion algorithm in the mid-high latitude snow area.In this paper,the geographical differences of different geographical locations are fully considered.Taking the black soil region of the Songnen Plain as an example,the MODIS image is used as the data source,and the inverse algorithm of the Planck equation of low-temperature linear simplification is modified.The index(NDSI)and the normalize d difference vegetation index(NDVI)realized the ground object recognition to solve the mixed pixel problem,established the MODIS snow surface temperature inversion method in the black soil region of the Songnen Plain and obtained the snow surface temper ature inversion result in the study area.The results show that compared with the MOD11A1 temperature products in the same period,the similarity and high consistency are presented in the three aspects of image angle,temperature range and data consistency.Based on the results of snow surface temperature from December 2002 to March 2017,the temporal and spatial evolution of snow surface temperature in black soil area of Songnen Plain was explored.The results show that the snow surface temperature in the black soil region of the Songnen Plain is characterized by the distribution which is characterized as higher in the north compared with the south,higher in the east compared with the west.The snow surface temperature and snow season are significantly changed during the year and across different years,mainly due to the small proportion of high temperature area and the increase of area of low temperature and medium temperature.Which are constantly moving to the south.This study taking the black soil region of the Songnen Plain as an example,the MODIS image is used as the data source,modified.The snow surface temperature inversion method in the black soil area of songnen plain is established by means of algorithm parameter correction and ground object recognition.The snow surface temperature inversion algorithm based on MODIS data can be used effectively to extract the snow surface temperature data of the snow cover in the black soil region of the Songnen Plain to meet the actual research needs of the snow season.The inversion results and temporal and spatial evolution of the snow surface temperature in the black soil region of the Songnen Plain provide data support and scientific basis for researching on agricultural production,water cycle and climate change in that region.
