As the electric vehicle technology matures,charging infrastructure will be another important factor to promote electric vehicles.At the beginning of the electric vehicle promotion,charging facilities optimal location is particularly important.Integrating multiple factors including economic interests of the operators,charging convenience of the electric vehicle users,efficient operation of traffic,safety of power grid,the paper proposes an optimal location method of fast charging stations for electric vehicles based on optimal cost.The site selection method of charging stations contains two stages,which are preliminary selection and accurate location selection.In order to ensure the rationality,iterative optimization is through in the whole stage of the site selection.In preliminary location selection,the model with optimal construction cost is established.Considering the particularity of land cost in construction cost,planning area is divided according to the land price.Regional dichotomy is used for solving the problem.In accurate location stage,the optimal charging cost model is established.For the impact of charging on the electric vehicle users,transportation,power grid and other aspects,system operation simulation is used for solving the problem.In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method,a versatile location selection simulation platform is established,which is based on MATLAB and suitable for two-stage site selection.Based on the simulation platform and research data,the fast charging station location within Beijing three-ring area is conducted.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method for charging station location can guarantee economic interests of operators and electric vehicle users,convenience of users,efficient running of the traffic and safety of the power grid.
