Peniohora s.l.is an important kind of fungi with abundant species and high support rate on phylogenetic trees, which can cause wood decay. At present, there are many names of fungi in this genus, many of which have only been described in the original reports, and have not been studied by the biologists from the modern taxonomic point of view.In China, there are relatively few studies on species diversity. In this study, more than 200 specimens of Peniophora s.l.were collected from the herbarium of BJFC,NMNS and CFMR.By constructing phylogenetic tree and combining morphological characteristics, four new species are discovered in this study, among which three species,Peniphora 1 sp.nov.态Peniphora 2 sp.nov.and Peniphora 3 sp.nov.were collected in China, and one specie,Duportella sp.nov.was collected in Vietnam.Eight species,Duportella lassa,D.renispora,Peniophora crassitunicata,P.erikssonii,P.juniperocola,P.meridionalis,P.proxima and P.pseudoversicolor, were first collected in China.Besides,ITS and nLSU were used as molecular markers to construct phylogenetic trees, and the phylogenetic relationships and morphological differences between Peniophora s.l.were discussed. In this paper,26 species of Peniophora s.l.were described in detail, including their hosts, distribution and discussed.
