Agriculture is one of the important economic support of the people. As a big agricultural country,China’s agricultural development is the foundation of the country’s economic development and the top priority of the national development strategy.Affected by the rapid advancement of urbanization, the spatial pattern of China’s aging has undergone profound changes in recent years. The direct result is that the vast rural areas are losing their ability to accumulate wealth,at the same time, the aging of the population structure has become extremely severe. As a major grain production area in China, the agricultural problems in Jiangxi Province cannot be ignored.Based on the data of the Fifth census and the Sixth census, combined with the aging of rural population, the loss of labor and the distribution of cultivated land, this paper uses the coupling degree and coordination model to study the spatial allocation of rural human resources in Jiangxi Province. The urbanization rate is affected by many factors, and its change cannot be linear. The neural network is a machine operation model, which has a unique structure and is modeled after the biological nervous system.Due to its particularity,it has nonlinear mapping ability, classification ability and nonlinear approximation ability, and its construction does not require accurate mathematical theory model. Therefore, neural networks are used in this study to predict the urbanization rate from 2020 to 2035.Based on the prediction results, combined with the actual situation of cultivated land distribution in Jiangxi Province, the concept of coupling coordination degree is used to predict the development between manpower and cultivated land in Jiangxi Province, and corresponding countermeasures are proposed. From the results of the study we can know that,(1)Between 2000 and 2010,the trend of aging in the province was significantly different. With the passage of time, the aging of the province has intensified. From the perspective of spatial distribution, the rural elderly population is concentrated in the Poyang Lake Plain, the main agriculture in Jiangxi Province.Compared with 2000,the number of rural aging population increased significantly in 2010,and the number of elderly people in all counties increased, and the number of counties with large rural elderly populations expanded significantly. The high value of the elderly population is still concentrated in the plain area of Poyang Lake and the southern part of JiangxiProvince, and the rural elderly population in the Poyang Lake Plain has increased significantly. There is a trend of extension along the Jiangxi section of the Shanghai-Kunming Railway. In terms of the aging trend, there is a big difference between the western and western regions, but the aging trend is spreading to the eastern part of Jiangxi Province, and the difference between the east and the west is decreasing. The cold hotspot pattern of Jiangxi old age index is distributed in a ring shape, which basically forms the spatial pattern of heat-sub-heat-sub-cold-cold point distribution. The difference between east and west is significant, forming a hot spot in western Jiangxi Province and a cold spot in eastern Jiangxi Province.(2)The overall cultivated land pattern in Jiangxi Province is much in the north and less in the south. This is related to the topography of Jiangxi Province. There is a fertile Poyang Lake plain in the north, and the hilly terrain in the south, with many mountains, less flat land and limited cultivated land. The development of coupling coordination degree in the plain area of Jiangxi Province is more stable than that in mountainous areas. The plain terrain is flat and the agricultural production conditions are good. The cultivated land area is large, suitable for the development of scale agriculture, which is conducive to attracting labor to develop agriculture and retain rural labor. However, the area of cultivated land in mountainous areas is small, the distribution of cultivated land is scattered, and the difficulty of cultivation is a major factor in the loss of labor force in mountainous areas. As a result, the labor force goes out of employment due to the needs of life development, which makes the farmland reclamation, and the coupling degree between the labor force and the cultivated land area is reduced. The aging is more serious in the main agricultural producing areas, which will not be conducive to the continuous advancement of modern agriculture in the plains.(3)In the future, the urbanization rate of counties in Jiangxi Province has continued to increase, but the growth rate has slowed down, and the gap in urbanization rates between counties has narrowed. With the deepening of urbanization, the circulation of population will have a certain impact on agricultural production in Jiangxi Province.Overall, the degree of coupling and coordination between urbanization and agricultural cultivated land in Jiangxi Province is gradually weakening. The weakening of the coupling degree of the counties in the province, especially the county with better coordination, indicates that the agricultural situation in which the main farming tends to be in our province is not optimistic.Urbanization is intensifying, and rural resources, including a significant portion of human capital, will flood into cities, which will lead to increased mismatch between agricultural resources and human capital. Therefore, the county areas in the vast plains should take timely measures to deal with the changes brought about by urbanization, update agricultural production methods, improve agricultural planting efficiency, intensive human capital, promote new agriculture, and implement agricultural modernization. Therefore,in the critical period of rapid development of aging and urbanization, this paper focuses on the development of rural areas and agriculture to explore China’s aging problem with a high degree of strategic and practical significance.
