The ocean is a field in which countries have been racing to research and exploit in recent years.With the rapid improvement of the processing power of chips such as CPU and GPU,virtual reality technology is getting hotter and hotter.Applying it to the marine field is also the focus of research by scholars.Due to the complex and varied marine environment,the simulation of the ocean becomes very challenging.There are a lot of random winds on the surface of the ocean.It is a very challenging subject to simulate the sea surface under random wind field.This paper mainly studies the sea surface simulation under random wind field,focusing on improving the real-time and authenticity of sea surface scene simulation.First,the simulation method of ocean waves under random wind field is studied.Aiming at the problem of insufficient simulation and simulation of ocean wave simulation under random wind field,this paper proposes an improved model of ocean wave modeling and simulation based on fundamental wave modeling.The ocean surface is considered to be a combination of wave blocks of many different sizes,called the fundamental block.The waves in each fundamental block are composed of many constituent waves.The wave in the fundamental block combines with the sharpening effect of the Gerstner model,and the Longuet-Higgins model occupies less resources and has the advantage of convenient calculation.The modeling method is improved,and the control factor for controlling the wave waveform is added to make the fundamental wave appear to be random.The impact characteristics of the wind field.After that,the sea level grid is constructed,and then the sea surface height field is generated according to the method of the present invention and the GPU is used for vertex picking and texture mapping superposition.The balance between the authenticity and real-time performance of the wave simulation under the random wind field is realized.Secondly,the method of rendering the illumination effect on the sea surface is studied.The rendering of the sea surface lighting effect will greatly enhance the authenticity of the sea surface simulation.This paper first introduces the characteristics of illumination,and then introduces several commonly used illumination models.According to the characteristics of the sea surface for the diffuse reflection of illumination,the Lambert diffuse reflection model is improved,and the incident intensity is below a certain threshold.The light intensity is enhanced,and combined with the fast calculation speed of the Blinn-Phong illumination model,an improved illumination model is proposed,which makes the rendering of the sea surface diffuse reflection more realistic and greatly enhances the realism of the sea surface simulation.Finally,the method of drawing the sea scene is studied.In the large-scale sea surface simulation research,the computing resources of the CPU are limited,and the LOD technology is generally used for the drawing efficiency problem.This article describes the commonly used LOD model.Then the research on the causes and common elimination methods of cracks generated by LOD model technology is carried out.In view of the limitations of current methods for cracks of different levels,an improved crack elimination method is proposed.This method is not limited by the grid level and can smoothly eliminate cracks while maintaining the continuity of the model surface.
