The Piaotang tungsten deposit is a typical quartz vein type tungsten deposit in Nanling area.Previous studies on fluid inclusions of ore minerals and gangue minerals in this deposit are turely fruitful. However, the homogenization temperature of fluid inclusions in ore minerals is higher than that of quartz, which is a fluid inclusion through minerals. The possible reason for this difference is that the homogenization temperature measured previously is the average result of multi-quartz.In this paper, the stages are divided according to the cathodeluminescence characteristics of quartz, the fluid evolution process is restricted in detail, the relationship between the trace elements in quartz and the cathodeluminescence characteristics is discussed, the fluid inclusion microscopic test and analysis are carried out on the non-contemporaneous quartz, and the wolframite deposit precipitation mechanism is discussed. This study according to the cathodoluminescence features of quartz in Piaotang tungsten deposit?pulse with different four samples in the central part of the stage,on the basis of different brightness of cathodeluminescence intensity separated the two quartz, with bright color quartz on behalf of the early stage, dark quartz on behalf of the late stage.LA-ICP-MS in-situ microelement analysis of non-contemporaneous quartz showed that early bright quartz had the characteristics of high Ti and low Fe,late dark quartz had the characteristics of low Ti and high Fe,and the combination of Ti and Fe controlled quartz showed different cathodeluminescence characteristics. For both the rich liquid and gas phase fluid inclusions of quartz temperature experiments, the results show that the representative of the early and late quartz uniform temperature range is 230??380? and 180??291?.Early quartz recorded higher-temperature ore-forming fluids. The salinity and density of the fluids in the two stages have a small span. The distribution ranges of salinity and density of the fluids are 1?6wt%NaCleq and 0.77?0.94g/cm3,respectively,which represent the character-ristics of the fluids with medium-low salinity and medium-low density. In this paper, the study of cathodoluminescence characteristics of quartz has effectively divided the multi-stage ore-forming fluids recorded by quartz and other transparent minerals. In order to avoid mixing results of quartz,it is necessary to systematically analyze the cathodoluminescence characteristics of fluid inclusions before temperature measurement. At the end of this paper, the precipitation mechanism of wolframite in this deposit is studied. The microelement electron probe analysis of quartz in the wall rock of the vein side showed that the content of FeO and MnO decreased in the direction away from the quartz vein. Therefore, the surrounding rocks of the Piaotang tungsten deposit did not provide Fe2+ and Mn2+ for wolframite precipitation.
