As the worldwide demand for renewable and clean energy increases with each passing day,the ocean thermal energy,which possesses a huge amount of reserves and stable state in the new marine energy,has received unprecedented attention.Since the power cycle efficiency of the ocean thermal energy conversion device is very low,the theoretical power generation efficiency of ocean thermal energy is lower than that of other marine energy,optimizing parameters of various parts of the ocean thermal energy conversion system is significant to the net output power of the system and the power generation efficiency.Based on the "Innovation Project of Offshore Energy Island",considering the working state and environmental conditions of the ocean thermal energy conversion device,the programming software Matlab was used as a platform to solve problems in net power optimization.With the summarized system optimization assumptions,the net power optimization model of ocean thermal energy conversion system was designed.By introducing the CAGA optimization algorithm,the CAGA-OTECSOM solution process was established,and the CAGA-based ocean thermal energy conversion system optimization method was proposed.The specific research contents are as follows:(1)Through the analysis of the environmental conditions and working characteristics of the ocean thermal energy conversion device,the vertical variation functions of the water temperature in the South China Sea were fitted,and the influence of heat exchanger,seawater pipeline,pump etc.in the ocean thermal energy conversion system were analysed.Setting the pressure drop limit and equipment size as constraints,the net power optimization model of the ocean thermal energy conversion system with the maximum net output power was established.(2)Considering the influence of the optimization model solving method on the result of model optimization,in order to improve the efficiency of the model solving,the genetic algorithm(GA)was applied in the model solving process.Directed against the shortcomings of standard genetic algorithm,utilising discrete chaotic mapping theory and self-adaptive theory,the Chaos Traversal Search Mechanism(CTSM),Chaos Disturbance Mechanism(CDM)and Self-Adaptive Mechanism(SAM)were designed,by which the chaotic adaptive genetic algorithm(Chaos Self-adeptive Genetic Algorithm,CAGA)was proposed.(3)According to the characteristics of the optimization model of ocean thermal energy conversion system,the chaotic chromosome coding rule was determined,the basic solving process of optimization model based on chaotic adaptive genetic algorithm was designed,and the CAGA method for solving the net power optimization model of ocean thermal energy conversion system was established.Referring to the ocean thermal energy conversion system calculation example,the efficiency of different intelligent algorithms for solving the net output power was compared,and the performance of the optimization method on ocean thermal energy conversion system was tested.The intelligent optimization ideas of the ocean thermal energy conversion system under the actual working environment was discussed,which provides technical support for the intelligent optimization design of ocean thermal energy conversion device.
