Currently,the discharge of laboratory waste liquid is huge and has become an important pollution source of laboratory.In order to explore the effective recycling and utilization ways of laboratory acidic waste liquid,this study carried out harmless treatment of laboratory acidic waste liquid,treated alkaline soil and planted plants.Through the comparison of related indexes of different treated soil and plants,the improvement effect of acidic waste liquid on alkaline soil was discussed.Different concentrations of waste liquid were used as petri dish germination test and alkali soil treatment pot experiment.The main results are as follows:1.The pollutants exceeding the standard in waste liquid are mainly Cr6+,while the other heavy metals do not exceed the standard.2.The adsorption effect of powder activated carbon and ferrous sulfate on Cr6-was good.The added amount of activated carbon is 4g/L,and the added amount of ferrous sulfate is 0.16g/L.After 48h adsorption,the Cr6+ content of waste liquid can reach the emission standard.3.Treating alkaline soil(pH9.35)with waste liquid to reduce its pH to 7 and 6 can increase the available nitrogen,phosphorus,potassium and other nutrients in the soil,but the increase of total salt and EC greatly prevents the emergence of maize and alfalfa.4.The results showed that the germination rate of corn and alfalfa decreased gradually with the increase of the concentration of waste liquid,the critical concentration of corn seed germination was 10%,and the critical concentration of alfalfa seed germination was 0.2%.5.The results of pot experiments on alkaline soil treated with different concentrations of waste liquid showed that low concentration of waste liquid had no obvious inhibitory effect on the emergence of maize seed,but the emergence rate was significantly reduced from the concentration of waste liquid to 4%.the critical concentration of maize seed emergence was 20%.Acid waste liquid has a significant inhibitory effect on the emergence of alfalfa seed.The concentration of acid waste liquid starts from 0.2%,and the emergence rate decreases significantly with the increase of acid waste liquid concentration.The critical concentration of alfalfa seed emergence is 4%.6.The contradiction between the effect of improving alkaline soil with acidic waste liquid and the plant growth needs to be further explored and solved in the future research,so as to achieve the effect of planting plants while improving alkaline soil.
