Since the 1970 s,China has entered the stage of rapid urbanization.The accelerated urbanization process has led to the rapid change of land resources utilization in China.There are many problems in land development,such as inefficiency,serious waste,violation of natural attributes,and serious waste of resources.Therefore,it is of great significance to accurately acquire and understand the dynamic changes and driving forces of urban construction land,to explore the relationship between the temporal and spatial trends of construction land and its socio-economic driving factors,and to summarize the laws between socio-economic development and land use change in order to promote land conservation and intensive use.This dissertation chooses Zhanjiang City,Guangdong Province,with similar natural conditions,ecological environment and human customs,and Beihai City,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as examples to explore the dynamic changes of urban and rural construction land in the interprovincial border areas along the coast of Guangxi and Guangdong.Based on GPS,RS,GIS technology and survey and statistics methods,by comparing the development modes of urban and rural construction land in different cities in the provincial border area,this paper studies the development status of urban and rural construction land and landscape pattern expansion,explores the temporal and spatial characteristics of urban and rural construction land evolution and its driving factors,and simulates the future expansion scenarios of construction land,and puts forward countermeasures for optimizing land and resources development.Shi.The following results are obtained:(1)Spatial-temporal dynamic change characteristics of construction land in the study area:The overall accuracy and kapaa coefficients of the three remote sensing images of Beihai and Zhanjiang(1995,2005 and 2015)meet the research needs.The construction land of Beihai City is mainly distributed in the southern region,while that of Zhanjiang City is mainly distributed in the northern and central regions.From 1995 to 2015,the area of construction land in Beihai and Zhanjiang increased year by year,while the area of non-construction land decreased year by year.The increase of construction land mainly came from the transfer of cultivated land and forest land to construction land.The main types of construction land added in Beihai City are residential land,while the main types of construction land added in Zhanjiang City are urban land.The density of construction land in Beihai City shows the trend of radiation divergence and expansion from the central urban area to the point-axis progressive development mode,and finally presents the network chessboard diffusion mode.The density of construction land in Zhanjiang City also shows the chessboard diffusion mode from the nuclear radiation of the central urban area.The expansion intensity of construction land in Beihai City increases first and then decreases with the increase of buffer zone distance.With the development of social economy,the peak expansion intensity of construction land increases and the buffer zone scope expands.The expansion intensity of construction land in Zhanjiang also increases first and then decreases with the increase of buffer zone distance.With the development of social economy,the peak value of expansion intensity of construction land increases,and the scope of buffer zone enlarges.On the other hand,the peak expansion intensity of construction land in Zhanjiang City is slightly higher than that in Beihai City,and the buffer zone is also slightly larger than that in Beihai City.(2)Driven by the change of construction land in the study area: topography is an important factor affecting the distribution of construction land.The flat inland and the coastal zone adjacent to mountains and rivers are areas where the area and density of construction land are concentrated,which are related to people's living preferences,traffic conditions,commercial development and landscape benefits.Population growth is one of the decisive factors to promote the expansion of construction land.With population growth,the area of construction land increases significantly(R2 = 0.9797).Social and economic development is one of the main factors to promote the expansion of construction land.With the growth of GDP,the area of construction land increased significantly(R2 = 0.6846).Traffic is one of the main factors affecting the change of urban and rural construction land in Beihai and Zhanjiang.Port wharf is an important transportation channel in Beihai City,and it plays an important role in the change of construction land in Beihai City.Zhanjiang is one of the important commercial ports in the south of China.It is also the main highway hub city and the main hub port city.The urban and rural construction land of Zhanjiang is greatly affected by the traffic land.(3)Change trend of construction land in the study area: Based on IDRISI 18.0 software platform,using land use status data of Beihai City and Zhanjiang City in 2005 as the basic data,CA-Markov model is used to simulate and forecast land use pattern of Beihai City and Zhanjiang City in 2015,and the accuracy of prediction image reaches the research demand.Based on the land use pattern in 2015,the distribution of construction land in Beihai City and Zhanjiang City in 2025 is further predicted.It is found that the area of construction land in Beihai City and Zhanjiang City increased in 2015.The type of construction land increased is urban land and residential land,and the increase of construction land mainly comes from the transfer of cultivated land.
