At present,the studies on the loss of species caused by landscape fragmentation are quite common,but the effects on functional diversity are poorly understood.Thousand Island Lake(TIL)formed by impoundment is a typical fragmented landscape.My study used 10 functional diversity indices from three aspects(functional richness,functional evenness and functional divergence)to analysis functional diversity of insects on 29 sample islands,study the correlation between different functional diversity indices and the effects on functional diversity of insects because of the landscape fragmentation.The results indicate:(1)Demonstrating that functional attribute diversity(FAD),modified FAD(MFAD),functional diversity based on dendrograms(FD),weighted functional diversity based on dendrograms(wFD)and convex hull hyper-volume(FRic)belong to the same class index;Quadratic entropy(Rao)and functional dispersion(FDis)belong to the same class index;Functional divergence(FDiv)and functional specialization(FSpe)belong to the same class index;(2)Sample islands could be divided into two categories by cluster analysis : island JSD and the remaining islands;(3)Regression analysis between functional diversity and island attributes indicated that there had significant positive correlation between functional richness and island area,shape index,but functional richness had no significant correlation with isolation;Likewise,either functional evenness or functional divergence had significant correlation with island attributes;(4)A island in which approximately have at least hundred(ha)magnitude order that have critical effect on functional diversity protection of insects. |
