The terahertz(THz)frequency ranges from 0.1 to 10 THz,and its wavelength length is 30 um to 3mm,occupying a special position in the electromagnetic spectrum.Terahertz wave has the unique properties of transient,low energy,broadband and penetration,which makes it widely used in various fields.Terahertz imaging technology,as an important research field of terahertz technology,has attracted a large number of scientists domestic and abroad to study on it and achieved rapid development.However,due to the limitation of terahertz wave source,terahertz wave detector and other hardware,terahertz imaging system generally has poor stability and security,which also has a great impact on the imaging quality.In this context,based on the working principle of each hardware of the terahertz imaging system and the terahertz imaging theory,a continuous transmission terahertz imaging system is designed and built based on the new terahertz wave detector independently developed in the laboratory.The imaging system has high stability and security,and the imaging speed is also fast.According to the characteristics of the acquired terahertz image,a suitable image algorithm is selected and improved to process it.The specific content is as follows:(1)It is necessary to understand and master the working principle of terahertz wave detector and optical circuit system hardware facilities,and skillfully apply vector analyzer and MATLAB simulation software.On this basis,the continuous transmission terahertz imaging system is designed and constructed,which solves the problems of the stability and security of the imaging system and improves the imaging quality.(2)MATLAB simulation software is used to process the intensity information collected by the terahertz imaging system,and the original image was recovered.According to the characteristics of the terahertz original image,the image processing method is selected and improved to improve the image contrast,filter the image background noise,and solve the problem of uneven gray distribution of the image.
