In recent years,the new structural form of thin membrane structure has been rapidly developed and has been widely used,and various large-scale thin membrane structures have emerged in an endless stream.Since the material of the membrane itself has a very low bending rigidity and the thickness is often much smaller than the plane size,the wrinkles are extremely likely to occur.Wrinkles are one of the most common behaviors in membrane structures and an inevitable important issue in membrane structure applications.The appearance of wrinkles can have a negative impact on the performance,function,and aesthetics of the structure.Therefore,in-depth study of the formation mechanism,development law,influencing factors,stress and energy of the folds and its control methods are of great significance for the study of membrane structure.At present,the common theoretical methods for the study of wrinkle behavior of membrane structures are the main tension field theory,buckling theory,etc.Commonly used research methods include finite element simulation and experimental methods.In this paper,the nonlinear finite element software ABAQUS is used to simulate the classical rectangular shear model and the toroidal torsion model.Firstly,compared with the experimental results,the correctness of the three simulation methods is verified and the accuracy of the simulation results is brieflydiscussed.The results show that the accuracy and accuracy of the three simulation methods are sufficient to meet the research requirements.Secondly,changed one of the influencing factors,keeping other conditions unchanged,discussed the degree of meshing precision,membrane thickness and shape variables on the principal stress,elastic strain energy,respectively.we found that the influence of thickness and deformation on the principal stress and elastic strain energy is large,and the influence of meshing on the principal stress and elastic strain energy is small.Finally,the basic model and the local thickening model are respectively established,and the tilt angle,out-of-plane deformation and wrinkle amplitude of the two models are adjusted.The contrast analysis of the local thickening on the structural precision of the membrane,the analysis shows that local thickening has a significant effect on the membrane structure precision control.
