With the continuous improvement of the production of cold-rolled steel coils in China,steel coil packaging has received more and more attention as the last step in the cold rolling production line.The automation of the coil packaging process not only improves packaging efficiency,improves molding quality,but also reduces labor intensity and production costs.The outer corner of the coil is mainly used to wrap around the outermost edge of the coil,which plays an important role in the protection,lifting and transportation of the coil.As one of the important processes of the steel coil packaging process,the outer corner packaging is still mainly done by hand in China.Therefore,how to realize the automatic forming and online packaging of the outer corner of the steel coil is an urgent problem that steel enterprises urgently need to solve.It is also the original intention of this paper and has important practical research value.1)According to the existing forming process of the outer corner of the steel coil,analyze the working condition of the outer corner forming package of steel coils at home and abroad.On this basis,the overall scheme design of the online outer corner forming machine is proposed.The utility model comprises a trolley and a punching and forming machine,wherein the punching and forming machine comprises a feeding mechanism,a roller bending mechanism,a punching cutting mechanism and a bending mechanism.The online outer corner forming machine can make an outer corner of the steel coil according to the diameter and width of the steel coil and integrate with the winder baler,and package the side.2)According to the overall scheme of the online outer corner molding machine,the paper focuses on the theoretical analysis of the outer corner roll forming,gives the pressure calculation method on the forming roll,determines the number of forming passes of the roll,the forming angle of each pass and Roll diameter.3)Establishing the finite element model of roll forming,using the finite element software LS-DYNA dynamic display method to analyze the bending process of the steel strip roll,focusing on the analysis of the stress and strain changes at the rounded corners and flanges of the steel strip,and studying the steel strip The effect of thickness and forming pitch on the roll forming process.Based on the contact forceobtained by the simulation,the roll bearing that meets the strength requirement is calculated.4)After the steel strip roll is bent into unequal angle steel,it needs to be rounded to form the outer corner.This paper analyzes the bending process of the steel strip,calculates the minimum overlap of the round and round according to the size specification of the steel coil,and bends the circle.The process is carried out by finite element simulation to analyze the stress and strain changes of different parts of the formed steel strip.Finally,the research work of this paper is summarized,and the future research direction is further proposed.
