In recent decades, with the increase of population and social and economic de-velopment,the utilization and transformation of lake resources have accelerated the process of lake eutrophication. The improper use of land in the basin has led to the reduction of vegetation, soil erosion and the intensification of geological disasters, which further promote the eutrophication of lakes. This has retarded the development of social economy. In this paper, the eutrophication of lakes is studied, and the water quality of Taihu Lake is evaluated by principal component analysis model and dynamic model.Firstly, the principal component analysis method is used to study the indexes of Taihu Lake basin, and the principal component analysis model is established to ana-lyze the water quality of Taihu Lake basin with fewer comprehensive indexes, and to evaluate the eutrophication.Secondly, considering the delayed effect and noise effect in the phosphorus cycle of lakes,a delayed lake eutrophication ecosystem model was established. Finally, the dynamic change of phosphorus concentration in Taihu Lake was sim-ulated by numerical solution, and the applicability of the model was verified by com-paring with the measured data.
