Landslide is one of the typical geological disasters. As a sudden geological disaster,it not only poses a serious threat to the safety of people's lives and property, but also affects and destroys the geological environment. The stability analysis and evaluation of landslides have important theoretical and practical significance for landslide disaster prevention and mitigation. The catastrophe progression method has important application prospects in landslide stability analysis as a comprehensive evaluation method. In this paper, the landslide of the Mian County is taken as the research object.Through the field investigation and data analysis, the stability analysis of the 50 landslides in the Mian County is carried out by using the catastrophe progression method, and the index system for the stability evaluation of the landslide is determined.Firstly,35 landslides were selected as training samples, and the catastrophe grade values of each landslide were calculated according to the elementary catastrophe model. At the same time, combined with the actual steady state of the landslide, the evaluation criteria of the landslide stability analysis catastrophe series were established.Secondly, the remaining 15 landslides were selected as verification samples to verify the accuracy of the catastrophe progression evaluation criteria. The results showed that the accuracy was 93.3%.Finally,two typical accumulation landslides are selected, and their stability is further quantitatively studied by classical mechanical analysis method. The analysis results are basically consistent with the results of the catastrophe progression method, which further validates the catastrophic stability of the landslide stability determined by the paper. The number method evaluates the reliability of the standard. At the end of the thesis, the relevant research conclusions were applied to the stability of the regional accumulation layer slope in the 131km~2 area of Mian County. The evaluation area was divided into 304 slope units, and the stability analysis was carried out by using the catastrophe progression method. The random forest algorithm compares the stability zoning of the slope unit, and tests the results of the analysis and evaluation with the actual landslide disasters in the area.It is considered that the stability evaluation standard of the landslide of the single-layer stratification based on the catastrophe progression method is considered. It has high applicability in the analysis of regional slope stability.
